[Serious Question] Why do you (if you do) smoke Pot?

I think it'd be pretty obvious to say I smoke weed for it's high.

I like the feeling. I like where it takes my mind. Otherwise, I would never venture into half the things I do when I'm high. Not only that, but it relieves stress, as well as physical pain.

It helps with my insomnia, AND it has healing properties.

EDIT: Never put a cigarette to my lips.

 

16 year old never smoked once.... When i c that alot of ppl smoke that shit feels kinda wierd...

 

It just makes be feel happier

 

Because it makes me hungry, sleepy and happy.

 

lol i had a bag of puffed flamin hot cheetoh's for when im high in my dresser, and my friends girlfriend who is black (Yes i know, Interraccial ewh) but she found em and ate one but they were stale, and i couldnt tell, because i only ate em when i was high, and she spit em back into the bag, and im like WTF ARE YOU DOING THOSE ARE MY FLAMIN HOTS and shes like they are stale and im like I DONT CARE I EAT THOSE STILL lol... basically she ruined my day with that

I do it for fun, high feeling, when i watch a funny movie, when i go to a theme park...with friends, i also do it when i get scammed on sythe....(sad i know)

 

i hit the bong for my first time in grade 4
becuase my brother who was in grade 9
peer pressured me into it.
I am now 14 and am still blazin'

I do it for the high,
it relaxes me
makes me happy
& helps me slap kids on cod like rihanna. ​

 

I know two kids, one smokes weed cause he is depressed, just like you he lost a loved one just his was his dad, another one of my friends smokes weed cause he is a bum and loves being high, with most people I know who smoke weed those are one of the two reasons

 

I started when I was 14 and still am getting high.

I guess i started as I'm 1/2 Jamaican and pretty much my whole Jamaican side smoke it everyday. So i guess i just joined in. And i smoke it now as routine, don't even think about it and just light up.

Smoked it for about 2 years straight leading up to my senior year in High School can't remember the reason why I quit though lol, although it was good stuff, made life more interesting, memorable and hilarious.

I've NEVER smoked when I was depressed/sad that was one of my rules, I didn't want marijuana being a crutch for me and me have to have second thoughts about quitting it.

 

I've been smoking Marijuana for about 6 years now. I started smoking because I never tried it until High School, and I liked it.

 

i dont smoke it but most people just smoke it to relax and chill out

It annoys me when people think that they know everything there is to know about any given subject, and I see that a lot with marijuana. First of all, the government doesn't know shit about marijuana. I acknowledge that. Second of all, neither do you. There are thousands of articles and studies concerning marijuana, and it's really just a matter of what/who you choose to believe. So don't post links from sources arguing how it's safe to smoke marijuana, because they're equally as if not less credible than the sources preaching that marijuana is a killer.

I choose not to put myself at risk. I'm 25, and I don't smoke tobacco or marijuana. Of course I've tried it. I don't claim to be a saint. I did get high, and it felt awesome. When I came back to reality though, it almost made it seem somehow lesser. I choose not to smoke for two reasons; Like I said before, I'd rather not take the risk, but I also prefer to live full time in the real world. I don't need to waste time with anything that impairs my sense of perception.

I think people smoke marijuana for the obvious reasons: boredom and/or depression. My question to them is: Aren't there better uses for one's time? Boredom can be solved by hard work which is a far wiser option than smoking. If you smoke to relieve depression, marijuana will only distract you for a period of time. Once that time has ended, you'll want more. This is how it becomes a crutch. If you're sad or depressed, instead talk to someone about it. Marijuana doesn't make your problems disappear. If anything, it only creates more. That applies to everyone; even if you don't believe it's a risk to your health, you're definitely risking your job or being caught by the police.

 

I smoked last night for the first time in my life, I'm 19 so its been a long time of turning it down. I was buzzing pretty hard before and I just said fuck it I may aswell try it.

I honestly didn't like it, I'd rather take a few shots and get that same feeling minus the tiredness.

 

Well, I am educated in my opinion. A lot of people think that smoking pot is for idiots. I smoke pot because it relieves stress as you stated, and because I like the short amount of work it takes to feel good.

I started smoking when I was 15, I also think that it should be legalized due to the fact that it is not at all more harmful to your body or anyone else then lighting up a cigarette.

I totally agree with you. I chose to smoke still though, and I respect people who are non-smokers but still have an edge to them.

 

To the people that are saying "Il never try it" I used to say it but.. fact is you will.. for what ever reasons. I've tried it but stopped myself so It didn't become a habbit.
