How to Use Our Sythe Ventrilo {Not Well Known}

Using Our Sythe Ventrilo

If you wanted a convenient way to communicate with some of the people here on Sythe, try using Ventrilo. You use a mic to talk to each other. We have a channel that isn't highly populated; nor very well known, but if more people know how to use it, it'll become more active.

Step One

Download Ventrilo: http://www.ventrilo.com/

Step Two

Open Ventrilo and click the arrow next to the name box.



Step Three

Hit "New" and type in your desired name for the Ventrilo.



Step Four

Back out after entering your name, now click the arrow next to the server box.

• First enter the name of the server (it can be anything, I call it Sythe).
• Next, copy the info I have provided for you in the picture. This is the information to the Ventrilo that is most actively used on Sythe.
• After you have entered all the info and named the server, you may click "OK" at the bottom.

Step Five

Don't worry about bindings, it can be left blank. Hit connect and you are ready to talk!



Debriefing

The Sythe Ventrilo is a nice alternative to MSN (especially for big conversations).
