The Quickest & Easiest Way to Contact a Moderator/Admin

This is a basic guide dedicated to the newer users of Sythe.org who might be having trouble contacting the staff. This should clear up any confusion (it's very easy).

Step One

At the home page, scroll down all the way to the bottom until you see "View Forum Leaders". Click on it.



Step Two

Now you'll be able to see every member on the staff team, who's online, and what section(s) they moderate. Administrators {yellow} and global moderators {red} have power in every section (not shown).

• A green light indicates that member is online now. PMing a member of staff who is online will usually get you a more timely response.
• The color of a user's name just represents what section they moderate, every moderator has a main section. My name is pink because my main section is RuneScape.
• You can see what permissions a moderator has by looking under the "forums" section. In my case I have permissions in Off-Topic, RuneScape, and RaS.
  
• Clicking the "Send PM" button takes you right to a page where you are able to write up a personal message regarding a problem to that member of staff.

Most people know this already, but there is nothing more frustrating than not knowing how to contact someone when you have a problem as a newcomer.

I remember when I first joined, and had no clue how to do that. I had to ask someone, great guide, good use of centre button, and well laid out. Good overall.

Not a bad guide, I myself have never actually clicked the "forum leaders" button. Brief but useful.

 

Nice guide, I always had a problem getting a response when I need something done.
