Also, if he's willing to risk it in pvp, that's his business. It's not like they hit 800+ every time you spec. Probably only one in a couple thousand chance. You just got unlucky.

Everything in runescape is bullshit right now tbh, this is one of the many things that make the game terrible. It use to be so great when people either used mage/range dscim/dds or whip/dds and that was pretty much you're only option so much funner imo.
