It's very easy to see which email u used for the account.
Step 1- Go to Runescapes homepage
Step 2- Click on "Account management"
Step 3- Click Email Registration
Step 4- Fill out all of the info EXCEPT for your PREVIOUS email. Leave it blank
Step 5- Press enter
Step 6- It will clearly state your NEW email, AND your previous email in which an Email was being sent to.

This should help clear it up.
No reason for the email to NOT be deleted now.
