Best Item to High Alch?

What are the best items to high alch with the smallest money loss in p2p and f2p?

I'm pretty sure yew longs are up there.

But, you must realize that you need to incorporate other factors into your equation.

For example, you might PROFIT from alching something. Does that mean it's easy to obtain and / or worth the troubles?

I know you can find some d'hide items too, but they are more rare.

If you're doing it for mage xp, I assure you money will be lost. Last time I played though yew longs were the way to go.

 

Or do stunning costs more then alching but much faster xp/h

 

Maple long (u) got me 94 magic on my pure. I fletched half the logs and got 80+ fletching. So 2 nice stats = win
Then more maple logs you fletch, the less $$ you lose.

 

You can alch common items like yew longs and profit by doing other stuff at the same time, like collecting monk robes or swamp tar.

 

Maple Longs (u) are what most people are alching at the minute. You will lose around 130 gp per alch unless you cut them yourself and then fletch them yourself. Then you're only losing around 50 gp per alch.
