~How to Make a Pk Video~

Hey guys, it's Edit here and I'm going to be "trying" to give you a nice in-depth guide as to how to make a player killing video! This guide was entirely written by me, and I ask of you NOT to copy it and claim it is your own. Thank you!

WHAT YOU NEED


THE SCREEN RECORDER

First off, the fact that it is a PK video means you need something that can record your screen! There are various screen recording softwares you can choose from, however, over all the softwares I've experimented with, Camtasia Studio 7 seems to resonate the highest quality image while still letting you record only parts of the screen that you want it to record. After that, the next best screen recording software is Fraps. Fraps, unlike Camtasia, does NOT let you choose a particular part of your screen that you want to record. Instead, Fraps records the entire screen, which can sometimes result in lags/delays/skipped frames. Both of these softwares have torrents available for them if you don't wish to pay for the software. Just Google "camtasia 7 torrent download" or "fraps torrent download" and you should be directed to popular sites like ThePirateBay or other bit-torrent websites.

THE EDITING SOFTWARE

Now, once you've captured all your awesome clips (or not so awesome) you're going to need to put them in order to your liking. Various FREE softwares are out there, and some are even pre-installed on your computer! For PC's you should have Windows Movie Maker on your computer. For Apple users, the application iMovie should be pre-installed within your Macintosh as well. Now, most people would find these softwares obsolete, so to compensate for that, you could use a more advanced program like Sony Vegas or Adobe After Effects. Both of these programs offer WAY MORE features than Windows Movie Maker and iMovie combined. Both also, however, are expensive programs. However, there are torrents available for both softwares (Sony Vegas and After Effects). Just Google Search "sony vegas 9 torrent download" or "adobe after effects cs5 torrent download." I personally recommend Sony Vegas to people new to editing simply because the interface is far more user-friendly than After Effects. Sony Vegas WILL NOT work on Apple computers and will only work on PC's. After Effects WILL WORK on both PC's and Apple computers. For information on how to use these programs, various tutorials are available on YouTube and Google search results. ​

Now, the last and final word of advice to you, is that you bring out something different in your PK videos. Whether it be the genre of music or the class of pure or PKer you are, make it different. Don't make the videos for the e-fame or to be respected, make them for yourself and for your own entertainment, even if you are uploading them onto sites like YouTube and Vimeo. Even if you aren't hitting amazingly high in the videos, show your "tactic" and make it different than everybody else. Most importantly of all, don't take bad feedback too personally. There will ALWAYS be a troll or hater out there waiting for people to strike on. You are you, and respect that.​
