Sythe.org Vs Jagex?

Without Jagex, Sythe wouldn't be here. Without Sythe, Jagex would have no user base. Everybody would quit. Everybody knows about, or has been onto Sythe.org and it's amazing userbase I personally think keeps Jagex going. They break the ToS of Sythe.org and they can't prosecute anything, other then what NickV stated. So yeah, you CAN post your accounts WITH their names, Jagex can't do anything, but as a precaution people choose to cross out their account names anyway.

 

If you read the post I never said they actually do it, I said they technically could do that if they wanted to. Then i went onto say why would a friend decieve them.

 

Runescape isnt concerned about sythe because there is alot of sites like sythe in general, rs acc sales/services so what would they do if they found it anyways

 

But would Jagex really care about the TOS of Sythe?

Uhm what? They write down the names of the accounts and home...and take the list to the HQ and ban from hq.

 

The thing why Jagex employees might come here is to find all the bugs that people are talking about. They might spend money to buy some guides, infiltrate some sections of this forum just to know everything that players know and don't want to share with Jagex moderators. This forum is giving plenty of information about the stuff that shouldn't be going on in Runescape.

I'm not even doubting that there is at least one Jagex employee registered in this site and the smartest thing done by them would be that they created this site, though I don't think it's possible. It's a great forum to fish out all the info that Jagex always wants to know about its game.

They had their domain taken for trademark infringement. They picked another domain that didn't infringe any of jagex's trademarks.

 

Most of you guys are pretty moronic. Jagex cannot use evidence collected from other sites to ban your account. They can however, use it to flag your account, from which they can gain evidence to ban your account.

Or so I understand.

 

To whoever thinks that JaGeX can only use their Jmod accounts from home, its called a VPN, they use company laptop and connecto the VPN using them.

Yeah maybe a bunch of people know what Sythe is, but you're being an fanatic if you think even 50% of RuneScape's userbase knows what it is.

There are many things Jagex could do.
For example: Easily find your username and check the next time someone logs on it from a location faaar from your usual ones (the middleman), and then someone else logs onto it faaar from your usual ones and the middleman(the buyer) and BAN IT.
They don't because they don't give a fuck... but don't think you're so powerful or smart they can't stop you.

 

The problem is, THEY AS A JAGEX EMPLOYEE cannot enter this site, so they could not legally obtain this information to ban someone

they actually won their case.. clearly you have no idead what reflection is and how the client works. they won the case b/c they didnt make any of the script or inject any code into the rs client. they were simply utilizing the rs webpage into a different format. Also, rsbots.net isnt owned by snellman. rsbots.net is a RESELLER of a scripters script of rscheata.net[owned by mark snellman] Also, im pretty sure Snellman lives in florida. According to the location you have set, you live in new york...how could you possibly know him?

 

I've been on sythe for a while now and ever since I found out about it I've always wondered why jagex has never even attempted to shut it down. but then I thought why should they? ya we promote rule breaking, but were public about it, if jagex were to shut us down another site like sythe would pop up their would be no point. but with sythe here it actually helps jagex if they want to find out about some new bug all you have to is browse the sythe forums I mean every glitch is eventually leaked onto sythe, and it makes jagex jobs alot easier, instead of having testers they have to pay, they just use the sythe community.
