What can my beast PC handle?

I just bought the Dell studioXPS 9000 - No, not the stock version, the upgraded version. (8gb, 1TB HDD, etc)

Ok, now I don't want to hear "My computers better, etc" or "That stuffs crap", if you are going to call out a piece of hardware I have you better give me a good reason why its not that justifies my purchase of something better.

I'm not sure everything I need to tell you so if you have a question tell me and I'll try to get that info.

Heres the things I have right now :

    21.5" HD moniter Dell ST2210
    1000gb HDD
    8gb RAM
NVIDIA Geforce GT220 - Total available graphics memory 4095mb - Dedicated video memory 1024mb
    Intel i7 core - 920 CPU - 2.67Ghz
^ Thats all that I know how to find, and I'm not sure what else you need to know.

I'm on wireless, when I play Battlefield 2 on maxed settings (Anti aliasing x8) I get 80-110 ping depending on what server I'm playing on, someones I'll get less. The game never hiccups and runs perfectly fine and whenever I die I never think that I could've died from lag, because I have yet to witness myself lagging.

Woah, look at this guy making virgin gamer jokes! He's so funny!

On topic: Have you given Crysis a try? That's pretty much the threshold for hardware demanding PC games, aside from FSX but that's not a shooter.

    My specs:
    4GB RAM (I didn't see 8GB as necessary)
2.5GHz Core 2 Duo (Needs upgrading)
    GeForce 9800GTX

I yet have to see a game use 50%+ of my 3 year old CPU >_<
All what matters these days is what Graphics card you got.

Sure a better CPU and RAM will increase frame rates by a small amount.

Try arma 2 with a low CPU and your screwed. BC2 uses also alot of CPU when it was just released. CPU is getting really important these days. Alot of people in a belgium forum I am part of had to upgrade their CPU to play the latest games.

Not to insult your hardware but you should have researched more, you got great stuff except where it matters. Your graphics card is decent but you could have gotten a MUCH better one.

No thanks, I've yet to see a microtransaction game that doesn't suck away all your money.

What can my beast PC handle?

How do I find out that? If it helps I started up Battlefield 2 & Battlefield 2 Project Reality and they are both running on highest setting 4x AA and in my task manager its saying I'm using between 4 -7 % CPU, plus this internet explorer window.

Its what it came with :(, all I did was find out what was the best computer out there bone stock. Sorry if you don't agree, but what I have is the best computer (Excluding custom builts) If one piece of hardware is not up to par and is hurting performance - you can bet I'll be replacing it with a top of the line piece.

I'm thinking about one of those ATI radeons, like the newest one thats the best its like 5567 (Don't quote me) or something. Its about $250 at best buy where I live.

Best buy is such a rip tbh, my brother bought a psu there for 84$ that costs 34 on ebay... I suggest newegg.com
If I was going to spend ~300$ on a graphics card I would buy a ATI Radeon 4850 x2

What can my beast PC handle?

I figured the one that I was looking at - I called and they said it was the ATI Radeon 5570 - $324.99

So I think I will be finding a different supplier. Best Buy is a tad too overpriced.
