Some guy trying to scam me....

A few days ago I sold this pin to a guy for $3.50. However, today, when I opened up PayPal, it said that there was a dispute that the purchase was made without the owner's knowledge or consent. How do I make sure I keep this money and don't get scammed? =/

Tracked down his user, it's marshalmike9. You can see on http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?p=6772454#post6772454 and http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=872789 that, on the 18th, I sold him 2 pins for $7 (they were in two seperate payments of $3.50 each)

 

Force people to send as a gift, eventually with as note 'gift for already received virtual items'. But even then, they can still claim it back. It's the most you can do :/

Please post a good report at the report a scammer section to get that idiot banned.

Gifts really are no more safe than regular payments, that is just a silly Sythe rumour. There's not much you can do if it's a real Unauthorized claim. Paypal will investigate it, but the odds are not in your favour.

Isnt a send gift only reversable when u are credit-card linked and claim an unauthorized payment?
While with other options, u can claim in many more ways

next time be warned and tell him to send in gift and let him type things
