Is this a glitch or what?

Ok so I was pking on my pure, 1 def. So I barraged this guy and then we started to fight. As we fought, I noticed I became a level 80, and my def was 3. He had changed my attack style to defense. Then I changed it back. Later on in the fight, I killed him with a dds to get 5 defense. Does anyone know this glitch?

 

Nopr.. but you must have been hitting very low to only get 3-5 def lvl with a dds spec lol

 

hitting low? 3-5 def is over like 250 exp. Plus I can swear I didn't use an ancient staff or click it.

 

Not sure how it could happen unless you somehow miss clicked..

 

You probably miss clicked or something. Don't think there is a glitch that allows you to change the other persons attack style.

 

I found him later and asked him. He said it was a glitch, but wouldn't tell me.

Just saying, I am 100% sure I didn't missclick..

theres no way possible for him to glitch your client like that, it just can't be done with the way clients in general work

 

yeah its not a glitch its a miss click i do it all the time, when i switch to spec too fast i accidentally scroll over the defence and click that aswell , fucked up like 3 pures already lol xd

 

Im sure its a glitch. My friend "im hooded up" from DP and Ex/Foe happened to him. it happens on rare occasions when u go from speccing with dds, to either a whip or ancient staff. even if you change attack style to attack, sometimes it thinks its on the top right option, which if you have ancient staff/whip is controlled.

Happens all the time in barb assult, but rare when outside of BA.

 

miss click, he's probably just mad that you killed him -.-

 

I would battle hime again maybe without special attacks and see if it happens again.

failed. start over, and its a misclick nobody can change your attack styles only you can.

 

Its only a few def levels.. IDC much, but I was just wondering if it was a glitch. Thanks for helping guys.

its a missclick that you did when switching whip to dds or watever 2 weapons u used.
