Setting up a VPS + Bots

Hello,

I have a few questions. I will be purchasing this VPS shortly:

VPS Software: vePortal™ / OpenVZ™
CPU: 1500MHZ GUARANTEED
Memory: 1GB GUARANTEED
Disk Space: 50GB (RAID BASED CONFIG)
Bandwidth: 1000GB/MONTH

I wanted to know, how many bots could I run on that?

Hunter and SWpro respectively.

I will only be buying ONE bot, so I was wondering how much of each would I be able to run at once?

Why do you say 1 bot? Seriously?

Does a bot really take that much resources?

 

i run 5 bots on my computer with little lag whatsoever o.o

 

i have the 10 doller package and can do 1 soul war's on it 99 percent smooth
u probly can do 2 on the 1.5gb ram package but not 2 soul war's as they are the most demanding, if it simple bot like hunter not much lag or maybe at a push 1 soul wars 1 hunter.

If it's package #2 from burst.net you can run 2 bots on it.

no you can run multiple bots on 1 auth code im doing it right now with autofighter

 

You can but you are not allowed to....they can ban your auth for it.

 

Can run 2 bots but they'd lag like bitches and gain very little XP.

 

A non-sw bot ~300mb RAM
A sw bot ~600-700mb RAM

On my 1gb VPS, I run a thiever and a SW at the same time.

You could MAYBE run 2 SW, or 3 non-sw. But you'll have to test it out yourself.

Correction, 2 bots with a hella lotta lag.

 

Each bot I think takes 512mb/month so you could run 2 bots on it.

Your only allowed run the same auth on 1 IP. (However times you want)

So you cannot run the same auth on 2 Ip's.

You cannot run an auth multiple times even if it's on the same ip.

Get a VPS from rsbotvps.com for just as low of a price + free setup and awesome support.

 

YEah if u run the same auth at same time, gf ban hammer. They will warn you, i am actualling setting up a vps right now cant wait.

 

I wouldn't reccomend trying to VPS bot SW anyhow. You'll experience lag=activity drops=you get kicked=low z/h.

You can run any 2 other bots (with moderate lag) though.
I've run 2 autofighters on the same VPS as you. Just edit the memory usage down to ~250-300 ea.
