Don't really see why it's a big deal, people still did it regardless of whether it was legal or not.

Rules were made to be broken. =p

The point is is that I can now rip and burn porn and say it's for anatomy and biology classes.

    Haha that made me laugh.
Jailbreaking, IMO, was never really illegal.. I took my iPod to the Apple store, because it was bricked due to a shitty jailbreak, and they knew it was Jailbroken, I paid em 10 bucks and they fixed it.. I also used to charge people over craigslist for me to jailbreak iPod's/iPhones. It was good money for a while. But the whole DVD ripping thing is awesome! We can now rip porn in peace :) As long as it's for "educational purposes". >.<

ur grammar makes me cringe OMG

Yeah more than half of all iPhones are Jailbreak so it doesn't really matter after all.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't ilegal before as my brother tried to take his iPhone back to Genius bar and they told him they wouldn't do anything because of the Jailbreak. If it was illegal he would of been arrested..
