99 Prayer or 85 Slayer?

I'll be using Soul Wars for both. They both take roughly the same amount of zeals from my current level (2000+ ish). My question is: which one should I get? I really have no preference myself so I'll let others decide for me.

Edit: I'm not a pure or anything btw, this is on a main.

90ish attack and strength, 99 defence, 80's in range and magic.

Well if u wana get into slayer then just do that but if u dont plan on it them i would say prayer since its pretty dam expensive to get up with bones lol

 

I'd take the 99 prayer. You not only get a cape, but it will be incredibly as you play more.

 

Personally I would probably get 85 slayer, as you can easily make the money for 99 Prayer in a shortish amount of time at abbysal demons while getting really good combat experience.

 

85 slayer is good for money making. If you do not have that much money, or you will burn all your cash for 99 prayer, I will go for 85 slayer.

Then go for 99 prayer when you made enough cash from slayer

Slayer makes you money and prayer loses you money... Just makes sense.

Money really isn't an issue with the 99 prayer since I will be using Soul Wars. Thanks for the input guys; though we're at a tie atm =S

 

Get prayer! 99 prayer is much better than slayer. In addition you would be able to use prayer while training slayer. With slayer you will just keep making more money that can be used to buy rares or train other skills. Slayer is fun to train while prayer just drains your money.

EDIT: It seems that more of the people supporting prayer are actually posting in the thread, while slayer people are just voting without giving very good reasons. Get Prayer!

 

Just do normal slayer until 85. Then you'll have enough cash+a few more 99s on the way.

 

Get 85 slayer, then use the autofighter from rsbots.net and camp at abby demons. I've seen proggies of 15m/24hrs .

 

Can I ask what your current prayer level is? Depending on your prayer level, my choice is 85 Slayer because that can make you enough money for 99 prayer.

 

You won't regret getting 99 prayer. 85 slayer has no use except for abyssal demons

 

Get 85 slayer.
Bot/Camp @ abyssal's.
Get 95 prayer.
