    Anyone into weight training/bodybuilding ?

    I don't lift weights as much as I run.. I run a good 50-60 miles a week. I'm going into my Junior year of high school, and do both cross country and track. I'm more of a middle guy doing 400's and 800's, and occasionally some sprints.

    Anyone into weight training/bodybuilding ?

    Ive only been going to golds gym for around 3 months (since may 2)

    Im 14 and bench 135lbs. Im not fat either :p

    When i started 3 months ago my bench was 60

    Anyone into weight training/bodybuilding ?

    I'd actually like to start running that much eventually. I couldn't handle it now. I'd like to be a 400/800 runner too.
    I definitely plan to be in good enough shape to run 40-45 miles/week by the end of track season this year, though I'm going to throw this year.

    Curl? Like just a normal dumbbell curl? I don't understand what you are talking about. I can bench more than 89kg's, but i can not 'dumbbell curl' anywhere near 41kg :/.


    My routine is pretty simple:

    Day 1: Biceps, back
    Day 2: Abs/cardio
    Day 3: Triceps, chest, shoulders
    Day 4: Abs/cardio

    Then i just repeat. I am no where near as big as anyone else who has been posting their pictures. I've only been training for 6 months, but i only started trying to diet properly recently. So i still have a long road ahead of me.

    Right now i have no idea whether to cut or bulk. I am skinny so i want to bulk, but, i also want abs, so i'd have to cut for abs?

    Not necessarily, I bulked 20 pounds, and got abs. I just clean bulked, did low intensity cardio to still burn fat, but keep my muscle mass. That worked just fine for me, or you COULD always cut untill you see abs, but I don't see the point. If low intensity cadio with ab workouts occationally doesn't bring out your abs, you could always bulk, then cut later...Seeing as you stated you're already skinny.

    If you plan on doing Low intensity as I suggested, I'd recommend starting off around 45 minutes, and once you get use to it, throw it to 60 minutes. If you feel it's more high intensity then low, slow your speed down, yes you'll sweat during low intensity, so don't worry that means you're doing good ;) And no problem my iron brotha!!

    Curling isn't really something you max out on....

    I'm hoping to get 225 on cleans by the end of the summer.

    Anyone into weight training/bodybuilding ?

    I train 4-5 Days a week, Cardio twice and Weights 3 times.

    I had a prgram made for me that work mainly the chest/biceps but also to help my hamstrings.

    Anyone into weight training/bodybuilding ?

    I compete in under 90KG compeitions locally here, hoping to get my procard next year.

    3~4 rep maxes
    Current bench: 118kg
    Squat: 162kg
    Clean: 92kg
    Military press(barbell): 87kg

    Also at Uni doing a 4 year physio course/doing my personal training/doorman qualifications at a local night school :).
