Whats the point in recovering an account when you just sold it to someone?

Seriously it pisses me off so bad, you give them your money and the next day they take it back off you... Yesturday i bought an account for $40 from Key Revolution about 5 hours later he recovers it.. what is up with this community?

 

yeah its hard to trust some people.. this is why its never 100% safe, as the original owner will always be able to recover the account, you must have trust in people.

( look for people with good/decent vouches ) or just trusted members such as mods/omm's etc

 

Yep this has happend to me like 10 times. Even on little starter pures. This community pisses me off so much. 50% of the people are ban evaders and out to scam. It's so pathetic i've got to the point where i no longer buy accounts at all. Simply because they give you fake information and recover the account when you've trained it up. I've made a tank and got 99 range to have it recovered. I only make accounts now and don't buy them because I can't be arsed with the hassle of leveling then having the account recovered.
There needs to be some things put in place to prevent this because there are alot of pathetic low life scum out there on these forums that scam and it's extremley annoying.

 

The staff are currently doing all that they are capable of doing. Upon buying/selling any account you take a risk. Which is only your decision, As of yet I haven't been scammed. Not going to be either.

 

I've lost $80 to someone who has 1k posts and joined in aug 2009 so there status means nothing. He also has like $300 in vouches.

 

Safety Rule #1: Don't buy accounts.

I am serious when I say this, at least half of all long time sythe members are banned. Just look at some old posts and you'll see half of all 1000/2000+ posters banned.

 

Then use your common sense and evaluate the situation.
If you've been scammed so much in less than a year, leave.
Noone's stopping you.
I mean, seriously.
This is about the third thread i've seen you do nothing but bash the sythe community.
You're creating false percentages to try and state your opinion and what you're doing is setting a bad example for people who may have joined this week, you might be making newer legit members run off in fear of being scammed.

As for the thread topic, Just make an account, bot or spend some actual time playing it.
Or maybe not take post count as a way of thinking you won't be scammed.
Or try spending some cash to use a OMM.
There's plenty of trusted members on sythe, not everyone here is bad.
You're just having some bad luck.
Sorry about you losing the account and your cash though, no personal experience but i can imagine it sucks.

 

a suggestion is make an account, set ur recovs and email, maybe pay some1 to train him to that stats you want. that way if they try to steal it then you can recover it with no problems

 

Here's another suggestion.
Bot or just manually level him/her.
It's not hard.. :/

 

That happens when u buy those cheap accounts...
I got an account cb 67, with 88 range and 85 mage (also 35m cash), i wouldn't let this account go for anything less than 500$ (i've trained it by hand for the last 4y).
Unfortunately, theres no way i can ever get that price over here. Since tons of ppl offer better accounts for less than 100$.... but then u get scammed.... :/
When you buy accounts, always check or the offer isnt too good to be true.

 

i only buy accounts with: no recovs, email, etc.

after buying it, change the password 3 times.

flickflackflick, the original owner can still take it back (he knows the first passwords, when mems was purchased,..)

 

There is no 100% safe way to trade an account. And the reason they do this if you didn't figure it out yet is because they sell you account recpover then sell someone else the account and repeat until they get banned or account gets banned.

 

Same Question for you Bubblemoney. Why is it that you recovered the obby mauler you just sold me? You get scammed so you're gonna start scamming people now? Awesome bro, nice way to live.

Lol. Not everyone with low post count and low vouches is a scammer though. I have a low post count and no vouches as I enjoy reading through all of sythe while I'm botting my own account.

 

Not everyone as like 70% the ppl if not more that are selling accounts have jus joined this month or not long ago lol. I try to avoid to be scammed.

 

Y the hell would I make something like that up? Look at my scam report I filed. I paid this guy $45 for an account and he recovered it back from me. Such a lame person.

 

Always check peoples status, you never want to trust a no-body. It is best to buy from people with Vouches + High accountability and experience! Buying from a 0 vouched leecher can be a defenante scam . Sorry for the loss Gl on future trades.
