    Definition of Health?

Alot of people these days consider being Well toned or fit , and eating the right food is being healthy. The Lot of this is portrayed by the media.

Being healthy to me is being socially, mentally ,spiritually and physically balanced . What i mean is if your very fit and eat the right food and youre not mentally stable i wouldn't say you are healthy.

    What do you guys think.

I wouldn't consider you healthy if you're socially balanced... I hardly go out, because it's just not that interesting to me anymore (no, I'm not fat).

I agree with Appeal To Reason.

My friend is skinny but when we went running he was coughing and spitting every 5 minutes. That's unhealthy.

To me being healthy is being fit.

    Definition of Health?

I personally don't, I'm not really sure why but to me being healthy has nothing to do with moods/emotions/social life ect.

I guess that's fair enough but that's what i mean by what is portrayed by the media. Alot of people think woah look at those abdominals!! and automatically think they must be healthy!!! or for instance a Marathon runner who is actually very malnourished .

Health to me is physically and mentally fit.
Stress etc can affect your health, so if you are not mentally fit/stable, then you are not healthy.

    Definition of Health?

Health is a state of Physical, Social , and Emotional well being. With out all of them you are not technically "healthy." You may be physically fit but that does not me you are healthy, you get the point.

    Definition of Health?

I weigh 250LBS and around 5 foot 1 or something. I look 180LBS, but I actually weigh 250LBS. Also, people will look at me and see that I'm fat, but doing flashy acrobatics at my weight is pretty good, so it will catch people by surprise. So I'm guessing I'm healthy?
