High Alching

I've currently got 55 Magic and was wondering what's the best thing to High Alch. Is it still possible to make a profit or not?

I seem to recall somebody post a website that had what to alch and such, so if somebody could post that I'd be really happy.

What Kristian4th said is correct, however you cannot buy such item in bulk.
I would suggest Maple longbow (u) or rune brutal. You could also buy maple logs and fletch+alch them for fletch/magic exp and small loss.

 

How much do I lose per alch using Maple Longbows (u)?

Your not gonna find an item that doesn't lose quite a bit w/o a 100 limit. Either you buy it in bulk and lose lots or buy separately at a time like this and loss less, although you will not get as fast of magic exp, however if you take the time to actually fletch maple Long (u) then you use less, but you'll have to go through the labor of fletching all of them. It's your choice.

Yeah like what chapfallen said its going to be impossible. You have to settle with something like maple long

 

It's impossible to make a profit when mass buying items.
The best you could hope for would be a 1.5-2gp/xp loss.

 

Can you not buy them in bulk in world 2? I'm assuming they'll be around the same price.

 

Yeah, it's really hard to come across a good alching item as once they're discovered they get bought up quickly; resulting in more loss per alch. I'm just alching gold bracelets atm, I'm losing about 120k per 1k alchs.

 

Hand cannon shots were like 150 gp and alched for like 300 gp. Once i found out about this, went to like 250. if you find a good alch item, keep it to yourself....or me haha
