Imo it would be just encouraging an admin to scam, i mean, 200,000 users on this site? Imaging if just 1,000 users donated $50, there ahold of $50,000 and your telling me somebody wouldn't scam that?

Ots an okay idea but it could be improved. And as long as it's optional I think it would be fine since like said before me people don't have $50 to give up. And also how would people be able to tell that you have a bond?

I think this is a brilliant idea. If someone gave a $50 bond, and they scammed $44, for example, the person scammed could get a refund and Sythe could keep the $6.

This is a good idea, and a horrible idea at the same time.

The concept is good, the practice is too complicated and will cause too many problems with the people higher up. They're running a website, not a bank.

I support, this would be an excellent idea but it might be a little hard to keep up with..

Yeah, this would require a lot of work, but I think it being implemented would take Sythe to a new level.

Having bonded services and sales means that people are basically insured against scamming and such up to a specific amount. For instance, you pay $50 to Sythe, you have $50 on your insurance. If anything goes wrong, your 'insurance' pays for the damages. Sythe would have to charge a small fee for this service, as it being free would not be the best idea.

It would increase the necessity for middlemen, putting a stipulation on the funds such as "Using an official middleman is required for you to be eligible for a claim in the event of a scam". Thereby requiring all users who trade with bonded sellers as well as the bonded sellers themselves to use middlemen. Also, this would increase the necessity for middlemen and would put them back on the fast track as they were several years ago.

I seriously think Sythe should consider this, but it will require a lot of work.

No matter how good this idea may be, it will require A LOT of work, and personally I don't think it's worth it. When you're dealing in the black market, you know you're always taking the risk and if you do get scammed, it's your own fault.

Will every user have to do this?

I think they should implement this and give us an icon next to our names to show who is "bonded" and who's not. It would help weed out the scammers.
