How to almost always win at tic-tac-toe!​

Tic-tac-toe is a very simple game. The object of this game is to get three O's or three X's in a row. In this guide I'm going to be showing you how to take a more strategic look at the game, rather then just putting your X's or O's in random spots. After using my guide you will be able to be your friend game after game!​

A basic tic-tac-toe board:​

Tic-tac-toe boards are very easy to construct. All you have to do is draw two parallel lines like the ones I have above and you are ready to go.​

How to play the game:​

-To play the game of tic-tac-toe you must first pick who is going to be the O's, and who will be the X's. This should only take a matter of seconds just pick one or the other, and you are ready to go!​

-Like I said before to win this game you must get three of your letter (X or O) in a line. Here is an example of winning a game for lets say a person that chooses X:

See how I got 3 X's in a diagonal row? That mean I have won the game! Remember as long as you have 3 of your letters in a row you have won.​

How to win alot:​

-Now that we have gone over how the game works I can show you how to win it! To win most of the matches the first move you need to do is place your letter in one of the four corners like this:

See how I've put an X in the bottom left hand corner? You will also need to put one here or in one of the other 3 corners.​

-Now that you have gone it is the other players turn. This is where you will automatically know if you will win or not. If the other player puts his letter in the center piece then chances are neither person will win (not all of the time). The thing is not most people know about this trick and will not usually put there letter in the middle. So lets say the other player takes a corner like this:​

Now that is is your turn you will yet again need to put your letter in a corner like last time. It should now look something like this:​

-Now that it is the other players turn they will see that you almost have three letters in a row, and will more than likely try and stop you from getting three letters in a row. Little do they know this is all part of our plan.
The board should not look something like this:​

-Now that it is your turn again, you will need to yet again take another corner. The board should now look a little something like this:

After this you may notice that you are about to win the game, because you almost have two rows of three and they can only block one!​

-Now that it is your players turn this will probably block one of your two nearly finished rows, but it dosent matter because you will still have one nearly finished row to win with!​

After the other player moves the board will probably look something like this:

-Now that it is your turn again you can go ahead and win the game! All you have to do is put an X in-between the remaining nearly finished rows like this:​

-Now that you have three of your letter (X in my case) in a row you have won the game! Feel free to keep repeating this process and beat your friends/enemies until they cry. The only problem is that if you keep on doing the same this they will probably eventually figure out how you are doing it, so you should do this among varies people.​

An OK guide, but it does look like something you've thrown together in 15 minutes. Most people already know how to do this, the pictures have been made roughly in paint and there is next to no formatting. I'd rate it 4/10.
