um i have always wondered (aliens)

okay so ya people say there are no aliens and people say there are aliens.
i don't really care in all honesty wether they are real, but ive always wondered this.

In the bible it says, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."

I have always wondered does that mean that aliens (if they are real) would look like humans?

Just something on my mind, and i was wondering has anyone ever though at this?

 

One of the flaws of religion. Different planets, different life forms. There is no doubt that there is "Aliens" somewhere out there, and it is logical to say that they look nothing like us, because of the different state of their planet, and their different needs. IMO. Just like we can't live in space without a suit, because there is no oxygen, they can't live on Earth because of lack of their needs.

 

so what you are saying is-
in your opinion, is that yes they are real, but no they look completly different?
due to living outside of the earth?

seems legit, but like i said this topic has just been on my mind.

I think, like was posted before, that Aliens *do* exist somewhere in the universe, but they would look nothing like us because they need different gasses and use different processes to stay alive ^_^

 

Exactly. I don't really see a link between The Bible and aliens, I believe there may be some form of life, far, far away. But nothing like we imagine, most likely minisculus creatures that aren't brilliantly intelligent.

 

There is really no way of knowing if any alien form is less intelligent than us. As we've never encountered any. Also , there's probably more than one species , without a doubt.

 

This unknown life form is probably some kind of bacteria.

 

You people sound so sure of yourself. You only think that there are aliens, without even backing it up. Have you ever considered both possibilities? That God may have created us or this world was just an accident?

I believe in neither. It is a pointless argument, one that can never be won. Aliens may, or may not exist. Humans are so determined to find other species, because they expect they'll live in a science fiction galaxy like Mass Effect.

No, I believe there is "aliens" because there are so many planets out there, and you can't possibly think that we are the only planet with living creatures. And it is algo ignorant to think that we are the smartest species in the universe. No one really knows for sure, but it sure as hell makes more sense than to just being "poofed" by some magical being blah blah blah. Also, I lol'd that the bacteria thing, what makes you think that?

 

Universe is so big that there are probably other living creatures.
Some might be smarter then us, others don't. Maybe its just a matter of how long they exist already.
