    Question about banning

When people get banned and file a dispute how do they know if they have been denied or approved?

just curious as i see a lot of threads there but most of them have no responses. Also why are some locked(closed) and others not? answers would be greatly appreciated

    Question about banning

The staff are busy, and there are a lot of disputes, it would be hard to do them all at once, that's why no responses as yet.
Also they usually say on the thread when it's locked if they have been unbanned or not.

    Question about banning

We usually just lock and archive anyone's second appeal, since you're only allowed to make one.

    Question about banning

oh ok so it just takes some time?

some older ones have no responses still and this guy's is a good example of what i meant: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=877142

he said, "its been 4 days and no answer. please check (his thread) and respond" then Pen said, "your request has already been denied sir" but nobody answered his first request so how was he soposed to know?

    Question about banning

If the appeal is closed, and he's not unbanned it means it's been denied.
