I think it would make it easier for the people reviewing cases not having to search for what happened and could just get a code.

 

i hope i never get banned but if i did i would love this idea.
people should just not get themselves banned in the first place but i guess mistakes happen and this would help. good idea man

I agree with this. It's easy to implement and with the amount of people banned every day it would make the dispute forum a lot more organized.

Like 1 code per IP address or something?

I don't know what happens when your banned because its never happend to me but you cant check your pm or even access forums?

 

No need for this, Mods (I THINK) and Admins can see the IP addresses for Guest posts in the Dispute forum. Match them with the account, and that prevents fake disputes. If somebody is IP banned, how would the fake disputer even know if they are or not? They don't, so they won't be able to include if they're doing it from a different computer or not. They could also be asked to provide their main computer's IP to an admin in some way nobody else could see it, how would the fake disputer know their IP? They wouldn't. I'm sorry, it would be a great idea, but it just seems like too much of a hassle with storing and keeping track of the codes so somebody doesn't do a fake dispute. If the e-mail is hacked (which happens more often than Sythe accounts being hacked), then they're screwed. Sorry, but I don't support.
