    Scamming Accounts

I was wondering about this. Say you buy an account and use an OMM. You get the OMM to recover test the account to make sure that all the info is correct and up to scratch. The recover test is successful, all info seems good and so you buy the account. But then the seller recovers the account a week later.

Why do people sell an account, give enough info for the buyer to recover the account, yet recover it back a week later? Whats the point of this? Maybe I'm missing something here. I am looking to buy an account and am wondering if there are any incentives for sellers to do this.

    Thanks.

I agree. It doesn't make sense.

I believe they do it to try and make an appearance that they aren't going to scam you, mainly because they might be desperate for that bit of money?

Sometimes it's not even the seller that recovers it but the original owner or the mm. However, they usually do this once they notice some levels have been gained or the account has been made a member.

Just buy from Gold4rs, that's what I do unless I find a trusted seller.

I kind of agree there. I've been trying to buy an expensive/good account lately, when I'm just worried that their accounts recovery info are known by multiple people who can recover it at any time.

Some people just wait for you to buy the account members :s

    I don't buy accounts, unless it's from someone I really trust/know.

Because they're sitting behind a computer, not knowing who their victim is nor where he lives.
He does this shit untill he scams someone that actually goes to the police or tracks his address and gets the shit beaten out of him.

Once the owner recovers the account. Most likely get a lock.

Then he unlocks cause his computer was the most often played
Then boom, you won't be able to touch the account

scamming accounts that way is just retarded..
because after the buyer and seller recover it so many times it will just get locked. The seller will get banned on sythe.. and disputes will arise with paypal.

I don't see the point in all that...I've only ever recovered one account I've sold, and that's because the person attempted to backcharge their money first.

It's simply a way for them to scam and make money, if you wait and don't buy off a leacher, but a trusted member of sythe, that is the original owner, there is no worries :) (usually). I also would NOT buy from gold4rs, as there accounts are bought off of other people who can easily recover after gold4rs can't dispute the paypal money, and their very over priced.

If you make good security for your accounts, no one can recover it but you. Even in 1 week. Also, im selling acc if you're interested.
