Sythe Interview: Alteranz.

The next interview is about Jordan, commonly known as Alteranz around the forums.

What are your hobbies?
Surfing and Longboarding (Skating) are my two main passions
But I also love working on GFX
Whenever i have the spare time

How long have you been a GFX artist for? How would you rate yourself?
Well I first opened photoshop in February last year... and that was also the first time I ever dabbled in Computer generated design.And as for rating myself? Haha.... I don't really like to rate myself. But compared to members like Kiabin, Spray, TR1BAL, Squidge, Verts...I'm horrible haha. But I would say I'm moderately skilled I have a LOT to learn still

How did you get interested in GFX? Was there a friend who introduced you to it?
Ummmmm... well, at school I've always loved painting as a subject but I always make mistakes and in painting, it's hard to reverse. But on computers you can just ctrl+z and it's gone . A teacher recommended me to do it as a subject for school... so I took it up!

I see. How are you doing in school?
Weeeeeeeell!!! Haha Funny you ask that! At the moment.... Horribly. My grades have slowly declined this year - not because I'm not capable but because I've been neglecting all school work except Graphic Design.Good thing is though, I've been awarded Scholarship for Design. So in that area, I'm doing excellent

Thanks man I have one or two very good mates at school.... I actually met my best friend through very unfortunate circumstances. 2 years ago his dad was murdered in the city streets (very unheard of in New Zealand) after he tried to help a complete stranger who was in a lot of trouble with another random man. Are you currently in a relationship?
Not any more! Haha ^_^ Me and my ex girlfriend decided to stay just friends, as she lived 2 hours away and we just couldn't be SCREWED with it.

Why did you join Sythe?
Uhhhhhhh..... :O I can't remember! I'd assume it was due to Runescape. Back in the day when I was an avid 'Scaper! My dark period.....

Who are some of your best friends on Sythe?
Oh this is gonna be hard man! I'll leave someone out and feel like an ass. 1234567ASDF, JRSmithfan, Ryan, Finn, Verts, Yourself, Spam Reporter, Ujean, Kadaj, KIABIN, Kovan, Rawr, Venom, Plznate and Tyro. Shit I know I will have forgotten someone.

Do you have any bad habits?
I jiggle my knee non-stop. 24/7. No exaggeration haha. Well a little. I don't when I sleep. But if I'm sitting down, or standing still... I'm jiggling my knee. I'm doing it right now

Do you have any pet peeves?
Ummmmmmmmmmmm Pet Peeves! I hate the word "Cunt". I hate it when people use it.... it's just sick.Not sure why.... I just find it super vulgar. And eaves droppers. God I hate them. And people that think everyone should hear what they have to say

If you could describe yourself in 1 word, how would you describe yourself?
Over-Whored

Could you please describe what you mean by that?
I overwork in every aspect of my life. I'm online too much, I talk to much, I facebook too much, I overwork all my schoolwork.... etc etc.

So basically, you take things to the extreme?
Uhhh not the extreme so to speak? But more like over the top

Good to see that somebody is going out of their way to interview staff members. Good job Necro, but as some others have said, maybe try to make it a bit more "fun?" by asking some stupid / random questions, but still have the serious side to it as well. I enjoyed reading this interview.

No I meant to make one, but I never got round to doing it. Which often results in spur-of-the-moment interviews. Shiiiit. Well I'll have to make a list.

Anyway, it's great improvement over the last, and has less Sythe-related questions. Good work.

 

I hope one day to be interviewed, maybe one day. Also, I hope that Alteranz's mate gets looked after good. He deserves something good, with all the pain caused.

This one was a lot better, it was more detailed and the questions you asked were more personal, and not Sythe/computer related. You should create a list/schedule of all the people you're going to interview.
It would be nice to see a normal user interviewed, after Verts of course.
