Best iPod Applications

What are some of the best iPod Applications out there that are an absolute must and are just very addicting. They can be games, info apps, texting, etc.

I'll take a post of my own apps. I just want to get a few ideas so when I buy a new iPod, I can take these tips in mind.

It's fun and addicting.

I'm a huge fan of Doodle Jump and Paracute.

Basically, the object of Doodle Jump is to bounce off small platforms by tilting the iPod Touch from side to side. You just try to get as high as you can. Paracute is, well.. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/paracute/id359912197?mt=8 (Pretty much sums it up)

I also like the Paypal app. You can check and send payments which is nifty.

 

if you got a iphone a good and addictive app is the shazam if you don't know a song bam it can help you out

 

Make sure you wait with buying an new touch. The 4th gen one should be coming out in the next few months which will be a lot better than the current 3rd gen one.

 

Haha already has an ipod.

I'm obsessed with Fifa10, seeing your a football fan I'd recommend that, also Doodlejump and Angry birds are your typical must-haves.

 

I am T-pain, provides countless laughter.

Doodle Jump is epic. I don't have an iPod of my own, but I constantly pikey my brothers to play that game!

 

Doodle Jump, Angry Birds and Flick Kick Football.

 

I notice that all the apps above are cheap games. Well, I jailbroke my iPod Touch, so I'm going to give you the best of them all, no matter what the price is. I find the two COD Zombie games to be really fun, so those would be the best for FPS. Plants vs. Zombies is the best twist on tower defense games I've ever seen. And Grand Theft Auto:Chinatown Wars gives an incredible gameplay experience for much less than the DS or PSP versions.

Someone above said that there's a new one coming out, and it's true. If you want the details, it'll come out on 9/9/10, around 9:40 time (Pacific I think, or wherever California is). It's pretty fun to see where you are when the new Apple products come out XD

 

I literally just jailbroke my iPod five minutes ago. I'm going to go get those apps you mentioned.
