A long long time ago.....

Well many of you might have heard this. these kind of stories get around. and therefor i am happy to say i think i am the original pixelated charector this happened to. back in 05/06 (when the wildy was still awsome) i decided to go and kill some green drags cause i wanted to raise prayer. this is when i was lvl 82. i wam 130 now. so i am killing drags with rune plate, rune plate legs, a zerker helm, d b axe, ect ,ect. and all was going good. i was collecting the bones, had about 20 in my invi. when all of a sudden a mage come and tele blackes my ass. i was like "ooooooooooh snap" mean while i had run out of my very tasty tuna.. i was really scared. kept trying to run but kept getting entangled, hapened again and again. finaly i say im a gonner. and say i mind aswell bury the bones. so i bury one, down to 10 hp. bury another.... "excuse me the 305, your assistance is needed." that is the only time i ever got the grave digger random event. i was so happy.

Yeahh, I don't think you can get events while you're in combat now though.

 

I have a similar experience as that, in 06, i was at green drags with my 75 i think it was, which is now 110 (i havent used it for like 2 years), some 1 def pure, who was like maxed out came and tried to 'rape' me. He entangled a few times, and i just constantly clicked attack on him.

I pulled out dds and just got lucky with teh spex. He shat himself and i owned him, can't remember what the loot was.

 

Hahaha nice, haven't heard of this story before, but it sounds like you lucked out pretty big

Gravedigger random used to be so hard to get, lol.

Before random update (and during like 2 years of legit playing), I only managed to get it twice >_>

i was in wildy killing greens and a rev showed up. i fought him and when i was just out of food, someone else forgot to pick up a bass, so i slammed down on that right quick and had enough hp left to k0 him. it was beast

 

That would have been a good way to evade pk'ers back then, because the Gravedigger event was really common when burying bones.

 

It would be very ironic if you were training prayer now and you got the grave digger RE and then it teleports you to green drags where the same guy does it to you again, and you only have 1 tuna left...

 

Good old rs =( Wilderness in every world.

 

ahh the good old days where you try and get those dragon killlers skulled BAM BAM =)

 

If story is real then you must be really lucky! Didn't think you could get a random in wildy.
