Dark Man X scammed me

I didn't know where to put this, but I was looking for a money transfer guide, and Dark Man X (http://sythe.org/member.php?u=258839) added me on MSN and offered to give me one for $5. He then asked me to send him the money "as a gift" via Paypal (I now realize it was so I couldn't get it back).

Before I sent it to him, he asked for my in game name, and looked up my skills. He even mentioned that he couldn't find me on the highscores, and then finally he told me that he found me, and was ready for the $5 for the guide, so I sent it to him, and he e-mailed me the guide.

Turns out, for the guide to work, you need 85 cooking, which mine is only 71. He knew this, but didn't bother to tell me!

I wasn't sure where to put this, sorry if this isn't allowed. I just wanted people to know. Can't trust anyone anymore, not even when they have 50 vouches.

I have the chatlog here too, and pictures of the MSN chat. Let me know if you need them.

thats not scamming, you paid for a guide and recieved one.

 

He knew my skills, and knew I needed to do it tonight. There's no way I'll get from 71 to 85 in one night. He should be responsible for not telling me. He won't even send me half my money back.

 

Yah, but very dishonest in the fact that he told him it was useable when he truly knew the guy couldn't use it

It's not my Job to give out the requirements, infact they are listed on my thread, if you did not ask for them, then that is your fault, It is not dishonest or decieving at all, you should ask what you're paying for, and I did not lie about anything, I have given you a valid and working guide, so don't complain about it, thanks

 

I never saw your thread, you commented on my thread when I asked for a guide. Why can't I just get a refund?

 

Because the guide works, I did not lie about any questions you asked me, I don't owe a refund.

 

Admit it or not. The fact that you KNEW he wouldn't be able to use it, and didn't even mention that to him, is dishonest.

Whatever, it's just $5, I can make it back by questing fairly quickly. I'm just pissed that you mislead me.
