Drake Vs. J.Cole

This has been an ongoing fan battle on who is going to rise to the occasion of star status and better artist. Tell For Yourself



I'm going to go with J.Cole because from previous mixtapes his flow, style, and lyrics are much better and are socially conscious. He's realer, and is actual hip-hop.

Drake is a little Mainstream for me and when you're making songs like "Find Your Love" you aint cuttin it and don't deserve to belong to the genre.​

 

Well Drake is a lot more mainstream because he is sucking lil waynes penis and everyone likes lil wayne, it's annoying. Id like to see J cole rise above Drake because I like him more as a artist.

Lupe, yes. Cudi, not so much, i think he's found his own way to sneak up that moneymaking mainstream isle. If you like Cudi but want something even realer. Listen to Chip Tha Ripper. Oh yeah lately Cudi has been a lot more with the mainstream, but one of my favorite artist is Lupe just the fact he can take a song and turn it into a story like the old school rap such as rick slick etc. Him and Kayne both grab really talented non mainstream artist to be in their songs and i love that about them, but I'm glad you liked what i said. Usually most the time it's no your wrong lil wayne is best of all time..:huh:

but other than that J cole i hope.

 

J Cole was decent. Not something I prefer but, meh, it's alright.

Drake is a disgrace to rap. Completely fucking horrible.

Drizzy Drake , lil wayne got him started he made a bad choice by slowing find your love .. but hes new to this rap game , trying stuff out. To get to the top Drake gotta keep flowing stuff like over.

 

Mainstream artist are puppets..but sadly I liked that drake song you posted more, but if i had to choose one of those artist overall, J.cole defiantly gets my vote.

But the old Eminem made WAY better music then these two. Now he's making some bullshit..

 

I don't know, Eminem seems like he is rapping the same, just the style. Like back then it was more rapping about hate and and goofing around. Now that he is older he is rapping about how life is now, but i don't know..

 

J.Cole Better than Drake.

 

Well I personally like drake better so I listend to JCole first to give him a fair shot, then I listend to drake.

Drake is more intresting
J.Cole is good with lyrics but beat and anything that holds your attention is not there.

Im a real Drake fan and have been for years before he signed with lil wayne. Drake and J Cole are similiar artists. Hip hop is a business and some of Drake's songs are pop tunes that are used to help him sell more albums, become more popular, and ultimately make more money. Drake is not really a new rapper people. He has over 100 songs and I have listened to all of them and overall he is way better than Jcole. Drake's music sounds a lot better and more intresting which means better beats and hook's. And the songs Drake make that aren't pop tunes have slightly better lyrics than J cole. J cole is good but his music isn't on the same level as Drake.
