Can you get banned for auto typing?

Well since Jagex has been hard on marco.
Yes, autotyping will get you banned.

 

iv always auto typed whenever iv needed to and i was in world31 house parties and advertising my house with an autotyper (just like whatevery one else does) and i got banned for 13 days for macroing.. i think its stupid because so many people do it and i get banned wtf. oh well.

 

Yeah someone tested this not long ago and got banned after a few hours or days i forget from auto typing constantly

 

It's usually a mute under 'Offensive Language' ( aka spamming ).

Apparently you can get banned, especially if you spam something offensive or advertise.

Personally I've been muted for typing with colour effects at about a sentence per 3 seconds, even though I never used an auto typer. So you can get muted for being a fast typer too

 

It obvious to everybody when theres an autotyper. You'll probably get a short mute if its your first time

 

Generally they mute you, and if you keep doing it it leads to a permanent ban.
