What version of Photoshop do you use

I used CS2 for a long time, then moved on to CS3 and CS4 when they each came out.. CS5 just last week which is quite amazing <3

 

CS4, i have CS5 but i cba'd to move all my stuff over and im used to CS4

CS5. I prefer the layout of CS3 though... Blah.

 

Yeah I still love the old CS2 and CS3 layouts, much easier to navigate.

 

I have CS4 at the moment.
Used to have CS2 but then comp crashed so when I reformatted I upped to CS3.. but then my mom destroyed it with an email virus.. so upped to CS4 now.

Agreed. I also use CS3 mainly because I found it more stable than CS4/CS5. The layout is quite nice, as you stated and much easier to use.

 

I have CS4 atm, I might get CS5 shortly though.

 

Gah I've been having trouble with CS5 in the last few days, it's lagging and sometimes can't save an image "not enough scratch disk space", even though I pumped the memory and disk usage into it. Might have to go back if it keeps doing that :S

 

I use cs3.... but not by choice
I purchased Cs5... and then figured out when I got it that there was a secret component my stupid Mac didn't have... so I had to take it back.

 

I have Creative Suite 4. I didn't have to buy it; luckily, my dad's work let me download it on my computer

 

I'm using Cs4 atm. Is it worth it to upgrade to cs5?

 

CS4 is great, I've realised now just how buggy CS5 is (it lags and does weird stuff to the cursor, plus can't save images sometimes :S ). Although the smart filter addition is quite helpful if you want an easy way to patch up the image (although it can be quite messy sometimes), I think just stick with CS4.

 

I have a school copy of CS4, don't use it much though.

 

If anybody remembers Digimods, then they will know that when that was around, everybody used CS2. When that got taken down, I didn't do much on photoshop for a while. And then when CS4 was released, I downloaded it and tried to use that, but I didn't like it. So what I do is when I want to learn how to use CS4/5 and the graphic isn't in a rush, I use CS4/5. And when I just want to get the job done, I use CS2.

 

I used to love CS2, and the transition to CS3/4/5 was a little difficult to get used to at first. But now I don't think I can go back :sick:

 

Should I keep my copy of CS3 or upgrade to CS4/5?

 

Upgrade to CS5.

It gives you a lot more possibilities and a wide range of shit to mess around with.

I started messing around with CS3 then CS4 and now, obviously, CS5.

I find it wayyyy too limiting, ever since CS came out.
