... Contest/Game Bots?

So I went on Runescape earlier today to do some ftp pking, and in Lumbridge there was a guy running some sort of bot that including games like "Emotes" and Hangman.



This particular dude's name was Rune Riot X9; I guess my question is, is this a legit bot that is prevalent, or did this guy just kinda make his own? I don't use rsbots or any scripts so I'm really not sure if this is something new or something fairly common. Today was the first I had seen it.

It even saves Highscores, pretty unique I must say

Damn, that has to be a bot and pretty funny too. I'd like to have seen it..

I don't totally see the purpose of the both though, maybe he has his bot take a break from training and do that as part of an Anti-Ban? No clue.

That is my bot, Rune Riot. I run it there all the time.

I sell this script on RSBot.org, but that is my own private copy of the script that I have updated. The older version is the one I sell.

After round 10, it goes into a voting mode where the users can choose which game they would like to play next.

I've seen this on rsbot. Its pretty cool.

 

That is a pretty cool bot, I like how you have the option to play in a ClanChat. It would make runescape more fun while skilling. I've seen things like this in Starcraft, but never in runescape. Great idea!

Yeah they have bots running like this in most Blizzard game lobbies.

 

Oh yeah, someone used a script like this in a clan chat I occasionally hang out in.

That chat's nearly full all the time though, so it's extremely annoying when it happens since you've got like 75 people all trying to get the right answer first... becomes a giant spam party.

It'd work great in a smaller chat, though.
