Not neccessarily true... A Jmod was in Mod MMG's cc the other day and he started talking about how his son plays runescape and is a Pmod and an Fmod; and every now and again, he spawns his son an item that he wants.

I highly doubt that Jagex would let him do that. Its probbaly somewhere int he company rules not to do that.

The only thing they do is keep an eye on suspected botters (Players who got reported a couple of times for botting) Thats all.
There is no such thing as bot detection software. The only reason Jagex talks about a bot detection software is to let people believe that they do something against botters or at least try...

I wouldn't be too worried about it. If you think this might be real, just take a break for a little bit. The thing about botting is.. you cannot never know when it may be too late. Accounts can be flagged within 3 clicks of a button, whether Jagex's detection systems are as advanced as they could be.. is another thing.

Probably Jagex telling them to lie to the botters at chins in order to scare them off.

Pmods don't have privelaged information to this degree. They do have some perks but not nearly enough to know something like this.

If so, that Pmod would be banned for leaking. I would not believe any Pmod for any reason. There's been proof that Pmods that leak update information will be demoted. If it was a Jmod (very unlikely that a Jmod would leak information about a update to botters or normal players at all for any reason) I would be convinced but as I said a Pmod? Don't even worry about it.

This is 100% false. Runescape DO use a bot detection system. I was banned on my pure for botting although everytime i botted i was there at the keyboard talking to people and playing normally every 10 minutes or so.

Also did anyones elses Perfect fighter just stop working? my GUI wont pop up as it just says "Runescape is loading" in the client console. Also is the rsbotting site down or is it just me?

Wait for them to update the bots. Bots will never work after a system update. Depending on where you bot your bots, they should start working later today when they update.

Also, check the front page of the sites where you bought your bots, they usually say when the bot is down and when it will start working again.

After any update the bots have to update to keep up-to-date on runescape's servers. Just give it a hour or so and they'll be back up =)

Yes, all bots are down after system updates. Just give it a few hours, and keep checking the site for details.

You clearly have no idea how much it would cost to run a system like that. A system that can analyze 1M+ accounts for suspicious botting behaviour. They would be way better off checking people who are getting reported instead of everyone.

Besides i have been botting 5+ accounts for close to 24\7\2+ months without a single ban. So if they really have a bot detection system then at least one of my characters should get cought don't you think?

But hey, believe what you want.
