Most annoying thing ever...

So I put in a request to recover a forgotten password from my level 3 account I made about 6 years ago, and it has now been about 56 hours and guess what?

Very shortly? It has been 52 hours since it said that first. Does anybody have any advice as to what I can do or whatever? Even if it gets denied I still want closure... I provided what I believe to be sufficient information to recover a level 3 that is possibly still on tutorial......

 

Sometimes it's slow and sometimes very quick, it's just luck.

 

Maybe your information was like pretty even out so jagex is still deciding.

 

For accounts created a long time ago, appeals take a while. They need to ensure they're giving access to the right person, lol.

 

One of my friends recovered one of these old accounts.
He showed me and I was cracking up.

 

Some accounts im forget password i was piss off then im never thought about notepad then i got an accounts back lucky im put on files.

 

Older accounts take longer. Be patient.

Wait a few days and if nothing happens than contact them. This happened to a friend who recently tried to log back into his account. It had been about 2 years for him, so it may take longer for you since the time frame is longer.

 

It got denied..... someone tell me what info I should include and stuff?

 

You prolly don't have any of these, since it's 6 years old and a level three but...

They like membership receipts. You know when you subscribe, you type in an email address, and they send you an email? Find the oldest email from them that you can, and just copy and paste everything in that email into the 'Additional info' or whatever it's called box. They love that.

I'm pretty sure I've recovered accounts on that + very little other info.

 

last time i got locked i remeber,i was lock for almost 4 days b4 i recover my account back~~so just be patient and wait till 80 hr then see what happen , if it aint back yet go call jagex and tell them or email them the incident*

 

It's not a lock, a level 3 from a long time ago, 5-6 years ago at least, I just need to know what information to include and stuff so I can get it back to see exactly when the first day I played rs was.

 

Anyone tell me what info I should include?

 

Even if you get it back, its name is probably taken due to fucking display name shit. Thats what happened to mine, i went to sell it and i was like 'wait up man, i'll just check everything is all good on the account first', i go to log in and its like 'your name has been taken, please change your display name', so i raged and gave it away.

 

Its not taken, kinda a bs name.

 

Probably jagex isn't sure.

 

usually takes me about 48 hours but if it continues try sending another appeal i guess :s

 

Not much you can do besides wait, or yeah, try sending another appeal.
