How to Jailbreak Apple FW 3.1.2, 3.1.3, or 3.2
for the iPhone/iPod/iPad​

Here is how to Jailbreak your Apple device in 2 minutes.

Step 1: Website
Go to http://www.spiritjb.com/



Step 2: Select Your Platform
Select your platform either Windows, Macintosh, or Linux. I will pick Macintosh as this is my platform but the following steps are similar for all platforms. Also note there are other options to jailbreak your device.

Step 3: Downloading
Click on your platform and it should automatically start the download. Here is the Macintosh picture. Just click "Save"



Step 4: Opening
Open up the downloaded application.


Step 5: Jailbreaking
The program will automatically detect what your firmware and product is so there is no need to go through the long file editing stuff. Now just click "Jailbreak"



Step 6: Wait
Now just wait while it does the work for you. This can take 30 seconds to about 2 minutes. After this your device will be jail brocken and Cydia will be available.

Now you're done and have a jailbrocken device! I hope this helped!​

YOu need firmware 3.1.2 3.1.3 or 3.2 Unless you already have that firmware. I cannot verfiy that source so use it at your own risk

 

I've jailbroken my mates iPod touch and this is the method I used. It's definitely accurate information. Onto the guide it's well set out and looks nice. The only issue I do have is these guides are very common, there have been a few on Sythe before and Googling can find you thousands. Also, adding in some things you might like to do after Jailbreaking (Like installing Appsync, Winterboard, etc) could be helpful.

When you're unbanned, you may want to add in you cannot use iTunes 9.2 with Spirit.

You should also add you can now use redsnow and iTunes 9.2 to break the 4.0 firmware.

 

I have Jailbreak on my Ipod Touch. Jail Break name is "Cydia"

 

Cydia is an application that is installed onto your iPod when you jailbreak and is used to get other applications.

 

The download tried to give me a trojan but my McAfee safely removed it and blocked the download from me before it was too late.=@

 

I highly doubt that as I have used it and thousands of other have successfully used it.

The only reason is because it is a jailbreaking porgram so it is detected by your anti spyware.
