Is this reasonable?

Would it be reasonable for me to buy an Xbox for myself (With my own money, earned by me) to use in my bedroom when there is already one downstairs that is technically my brothers. I help pay for anything he wants for it, and it's really getting on my nerves when he plays COD for 4 hours straight, has dinner, and then goes and cries to my mum that he wants to watch TV but I'm using the Xbox. I normally get say, 20 minutes of time to play and then I'm kicked off because someone else wants to use the downstairs TV. I would only buy a very cheap one. So yeah, is it reasonable? Is it taking things to far? I just want to know peoples opinions.

 

If you are that addicted to games, and have the money, then go for it.

 

If you and your brother can't come to some sort of solution, then go for it.

 

Honestly, you live once, live how you enjoy living. I was in the same situation basically and thought about buying another one (mine is currently in my brothers room, but I don't have the heart to take it back) to keep in my room, but I wouldn't have played it as much so I decided not to.

If you are going to use it, I say go for it.

 

In the end its your money. Ask your parents beforehand out of respect though.

 

yeah i would, i know what thats like way before i had my own comp my sister used to always be on aim and i could never use it. its worth having your own.
