Why I don't trust ranks or post counts

He isn't talking about the real world. This is just for sythe/forums. People obviously gauge trust differently in real life.

 

What's people off ebay to stop stealing your real world items? Because you get a tracker when sending irl stuff so you can see if it's been recieved... It's the same concept.

 

then what's the point in this thread? If you don't trust official middlemen, approved by staff, then that's your fault.

 

He was an admin for like 3 days IIRC.

 

Daily was an admin for a day.

I wouldn't necessarily say the majority of these people scammed, a sum of them requested their bans or were hacked. Though yes, some scammed.

 

Awe man I never knew daily was banned. He was cool, but yep. I don't trust anyone either. If the right opportunity came rolling around. All of us would take it and run.

But it is true, if the opportunity came our way to scam and be behind a computer screen and only get banned from a website, I bet most of us would take it.

 

Then don't trade with people you don't know.

As you said, you don't know why those people were banned.

Those people were banning for breaking a rule..
would you trust a killer with getting you finance?

If you don't trust someone don't trade with them.

 

But that is the problem right there. I am assuming you are a legit seller, and that you wouldn't scam anyone. Yet, if you found someone with identical opinions and views, who wanted to buy your items, also legit. Then, you would never be able to come to an agreement, since neither of you would go first.

There needs to be some sort of system that means someone will go first, otherwise it will just be a stalemate. Staff ranks etc is one of the systems used, like anything, it has its flaws. Always, someone has to make the first move.

And some of them got banned because of Infraction. (Gravedigging, Flameing, Spamming)
Just 'cause they did one of those three, doesn't mean not to trust them.

use some common sense, if a deal sounds too good to be true, don't go through. If you feel unesasy, use an OMM.

 

Anyone who sends something through regular mail is an idiot, and all other ways to send stuff have tracking systems that prove the package arrived.

If by a lot of people you mean yourself? then yes. There's people that make more than that here on sythe, and I am one of them.
