The only thing I can suggest is to start working out more, how are your testosterone levels?

    Help.

Holy shit. I'm the best bencher on my JV team and I only put up 230 :O.

OT: You need more weight on your current workouts. 5' 9" is tall enough ^^

Find a weight you can do 8-10 reps of and build off that. Your benching you'll want to do 3x10+3 (3 sets of 10, and 3 manual resistance at the very end - with a spotter of course)

For your squats you need to remember your form to get the most out of it. Keep your eyes up, back straight and try to count 4 seconds on your sqaut, and 2 seconds on your rise.

If you're planning to look bigger too, do lower-back exercises to widen your body.

He wants to look larger, not get stronger. Following a proper diet that I provided, along with a good 3/4/5 day split workout will make him large. Width, and thickness on the back isn't going to make him look bigger, perhaps larger lats with a bulked chest will make him look larger, but what's the point if his body isn't proportional? He'll look stupid. Not only will bulk dieting, and using splits help make him larger, but he'll get stronger.

    Help.

How the hell do I know...?

I'm sticking with madhacker's suggestions for the moment, just started today and I feel engorged but good. Will post a picture later, then maybe one a year from now? Just for the lulz.

    Help.

Sorry for the double post, I looked back at this and was wondering... I thought creatine only fills your muscles with water, can fuck up your kidneys and only provide temporary gains in size, when you stop using it, you deflate somewhat...

I want to grow healthily and permanently, so I'll be using madhacker's suggestions.

Take a picture now, post one a year from now. Don't even look at the picture yourself for AT LEAST 4-6 months, it'll be tempting after a month or two, but it's possible to get discouraged. Goodluck, I'll PM you info on splits, some dieting calculators, etc.

I don't have any science to cite for you about Creatine. But whenever a competition comes up the guys who take creatine lose a noticeable amount of mass when they cut their weight.

Naw. I still have my size. I just lost my strength because I stopped lifting.

They don't fuck up your kidneys.. All you have to do is drink tons of water after you take it (so like a gallon a day maybe).

And if you DO get kidney stones, beer breaks it down so you can easily pee it out.

Some cut their weight, because bulks can look very fattening sometimes, or their competitions could just be during the summer (Most people cut during summer.) Then most load carbs before competitions, but fail to drink enough water, which makes them look less massive.

Could you get any more wrong? So you're saying getting a wider body doesn't make you look bigger. Okay.

Who wants to look like fucking Goku from Dragonball Z with the upper body of a gorilla and the waist of a 13 year-old girl, THAT is completely lopsided and will give you the exact opposite of a proportionate BIG BODY.

Lifting higher weight MAKES YOU STRONGER AND MAKES YOU BIGGER (HERPDURP MUSCLE MASS DOESNT EXIST LOL)

Who said anything about the waste of a 13 year old girl? EAT, and your waste will fit with your lats approprietly. Lifting weights that he can't do right now, is retarded. He needs proper form, and a simple pyramid sets will not only make him larger, but also stronger. This means, let's say he's working by himself. 15 reps, a comfortable weight, 12 reps, 12 reps, 8-10 reps, 6-8 reps. You increase the weights. He puts on size and gains strength, wal-ah?
I just assumed you knew what a split was, seeing as you're going every 3-4 days. I linked you, and should be able to set a schedual up.

Who gives a shit if you deflate a bit? Creatine helps you gain strength also. The strength you gain while taking creatine you don't lose when you stop taking it. You may deflate a bit, however you will just looked more ripped when you do. You should want to get STRONGER, not just look bigger. Creatine is very safe if your not an idiot. Yes people have kidney failure, but because they are idiots. You need to drink lots of water while taking creatine and they are the ones that don't follow this rule.

A split means assigning certain days of the week to a different muscle group. For example.. chest on monday, legs on tuesday, rest wednesday, shoulders thursday, etc.

    Help.

If you're looking for a "V" shaped you should of specified. Being big and being "V-shaped" are completely different.

Eating will not fill in your waist if you're looking to be BIG. (BIG) NOT (V-SHAPED). Working your upper body in general will give you the "V" shaped but you won't look much bigger than you do right now.

Using supplements to compensate for you lack of effort isn't really a smart thing to do contrary to this fuckwads who listen to stupid guidos on bodybuilding forums. You're going to lose all your 'hard-work' if you don't continue using them. Getting into a healthy routine with harder work will always yield better results than consuming any helpers (Creatine, rofl. Have fun dying early).

But I wouldn't expect anyone to understand this because you think being big is "V-shaped"

    *Sigh*
Being big isn't about v-shaped, it's about being praportional. Nobody is mentioning supps on this thread, minus the mention of creatine, which he already stated he wasn't going to do. Also, creatine isn't going to kill you. Once you go off a cycle of creaitine you shrink a bit, not like your arms go from fucking 20' to 14', but they may go from 20' to 19', or 19.5'. Eating helps fill that waste in, and so does retaining a lot of water, so you won't look like Goku. I guess I'm glad I don't understand, because I've seen perfect results myself, so I guess i'll continue to be wrong. People on Bodybuilding forums can be reliable, but like most forums there a people who can supply wrong information, like telling somebody to take supplements, or certain creatines (Micronised is fine for his age.) Then most of the reliable, and knowlegable people on the forums tend to tell teenagers to stay away from supps. So I wouldn't doubt people on Bodybuilding forums, I'd just take the advice of someone I know is reliable.
