Additional donation ranks

Add the two new ones if you want, but then make the larger avatars for $25+ only.

 

The only new rank I can see is between $100 and $300. That seems like quite a large gap. Possibly $200, but a $5 difference is pointless.

 

I'm pretty sure there already is a $200 dollar rank....

There doesn't have to be any benefits of donating.

That's just it. It's DONATING.

The current ones we have.. are good enough.

 

Hes not asking for more benefits, hes asking to even out the ranks... which is a benefit, but hes not asking for it in the way you're implying.

The perks show how much you are donating to Sythe, and like I said, I very much doubt there is donators sitting at $20 - $24, $45 - $49, $95 - $99. Mainly because when they want to donate they will donate for the next perk / rank, to show others how much they have donated etc.

I think if there was more perks and ranks, then someone wouldn't mind donating an extra $5/$10 at a time to achieve the next rank and show others how much they have donated.

But people won't donated to $90 or $95, etc. Because they do want the next perk.

If there was a perk/rank at $90, I gurantee there would be $90+ Donatars, if there was a $75 rank/perk, there would be people who have donated $75, but at the moment there isn't , so I doubt there is many people (if any) sitting at that amount of donation.

If you made more ranks ($15) ($75) etc, there would be more donations overall because people may have extra $10 to go from $5 to $15, then soon have another $10 spare to go for $25, but never have $20 spare all at once.

I have to strongly agree with what dark man X is saying. It really does matter if there are additional perks. You can see it as a marketing strategy. Some people donate because they want to help sythe, and some people donate because they want that perk which makes them stand out from other players.

I think adding additional perks would be a very benificial move for sythe.

 

Right... And if you make more ranks, they'll get plain too because everyone will have them. Instead of more ranks, I suggest a perk for $25 donors. That's a gap that needs to be filled.

More ranks isn't needed.

$5 to $25 is a very small gap. If you don't have enough cash to donate up to the next rank then wait it out and donate when you do. Honestly nobody cares if your a $50 donor or a $75 donor, a $9 donor vs $14 donor.

The addition of the $200 rank was a good idea.

 

The opinions on this suggestion are mixed. I will post a poll for one week, and see how that goes.

 

I personally think that the admins should add a $10 and $15, or $10 and $20 donator rank. If you think about it, there are probably a few people out there that like to donate a little at a time and enjoy having a new perk once in a while, so why have a $20 gap? Not everyone wants to donate $20 extra after the $5 perk to get a new rank. Many people many not agree with my idea, but I think that adding a $10 and $15/$10 and $20 rank may bring a FEW more donations to Sythe.
