Additional donation ranks

Note - i have checked the "what suggestions not to make," and while this is close to "requesting ranks," that refers to the requesting of a custom rank for oneself.​

Suggestion:
-A few rank or two, at $10 and $15.

Graphics:
-A Saradomin and Zamorak trimmed rune set, respectively

Reason:
-The current Guth rank is boring, many users have it, and don't see the point of donating to $25 as there are no added perks.

But see, this is coming from a $50 donor.

 

He has enough money to donate $50 to Sythe. Why do you not do the same?
I don't really see that it is needed. Is there much of a difference between $5 and $25?

 

$20 buys me 12.5m. I'm not looking to waste that. Also, $25 is the same benefits as $5...

 

So your saying that either we get more smaller ranks or get more benefits for higher rank donors? I guess I'll support, i mean more pretty ranks.

I think they should just get rid of $5.00, and make it $10.00.

I do not support, even though i am not a donator. If sythe added more donator ranks then many people would complain because they do not add extra perks.

 

We don't need any more donation ranks.

 

Sounds like a good idea, but against the rules .

 

If you don't want - don't donate. No one is forcing you. And there is no much difference between 5 and 25 anyway.

 

It's a good idea, people wouldn't mind donating $5 each time they have a little cash spare, and they enjoy having the perks and different donation ranks.

But from $5 - $25 is a bigger jump, and discourages people to donate.

In other words, I doubt there is many (if any) people who have donated between $20 - $24 , they would just donate for the next rank, and $20 is alot.

They wouldn't mind donating $5 at a time though, to achieve the next rank.

Personally, I think it will bring in more donations overall to Sythe.

 

Your not getting the point, blade. If you donate, it's because you want to keep Sythe as it is and help them out. If your donating for the perks... no, no. I'm a $25 as you can see, and I can say its not even worth donating for these perks I get. The point is, if you donate, your DONATING and not paying for perks. Sythe gives donators perks because it's a way to that those users.

 

If its just about donating and not about ranks, why have separate rank titles? Why not just one rank, for example "Sythe Supporter" keep the perks as they're currently but keep everything else hidden. It would keep people from requesting different ranks like this.

I personally don't want a rank, for donating anything. I just wanted the larger avatar.

Would it really hurt so much to post with a little time and effort?

Also, it is clear what the poster is trying to say; he is pointing out that we shouldn't donate for the ranks/perks. We should donate to help out the site (as we would donate to help out charities). This is the definition of a donation

We have different ranks for different amounts to acknowledge the fact that the member in question helped out the site. It is so other members can see that this person cares about the site, and wants to give something back. The more they give back, the more generous they may be.

 

There is a plus sign for a reason, There would just be to many ranks and I just think its pointless. I understand your reason for this but I don't think it would increase the amount of donations
