Infractions for...

I believe that infractions should be given for all of the threads in the "RS gold selling" section that are just account sales.
EX - "selling 110m! comes with a lvl 120!"
That's NOT a gold sale. It's an account sale.

Yes, but its a lot easier for people to buy the account (containing the gold) then x-fer it over themselves.

If someone wants an account with gold, they should go into the account section, it's easy as that. The gold selling section, imo, should be people WITH xfer methods and gold for these methods. But the issue i've posted about definately needs some taken care of.

 

Your post makes no sense. You're saying it's eaiser to sell the accounts. Exactly, that's why it should be posted WITHIN the account sales.

Well, most people using that forum are there for the purpose of transferring the gold to their account anyways. Giving the 120 is only an added benefit to transferring the gold.

 

Most...actually i guarentee 99% of gold buyers in that section DO NOT have a transfer method.

 

It falls under both categories and therefore it doesn't matter where they prefer to put it. Most of the time with these sales the price of the gold on the account outweighs the value of it's stats. That's why the gold is focused on more heavily. You don't need an x-fer method to sell gold, many people still buy accounts with the gold on them.

 

if the acc has any gold on it whatsoever then it can be looked at as a gold sale,

its like saying, "selling 100m your method, comes with free acc!"

 

I support. People come looking there to buy gp to their accounts. I'll bring it up with some globals/market mods, maybe we can make a sticky there.

It honestly doesn't bother me. Just report it next time and I'll be happy to close.

 

The problem is, it's not an "it." It's a "they." All of the examples were posted within one day, and if a user was to go through and report them (me,) then they would have to wait around an hour to report all of them because of the 5 minute report wait.

 

Then compile all the links together and send them to me and I will lock them all.
