4. Will be able to play games in 3D in the future!

Only reason I could see you picking xbox for is that xbox live is better online than the psn. But the PSN is Free and XBL is not.

Overall neither is the better console. It all depends on what you personally need for a gaming system. If you care most about the online capabilities, the Xbox 360 is for you; if you want a bit better graphics, the PS3 is for you. Oh, and if you are 7 years old, the Wii is for you.

 

How so? The Wii has great games such as zelda, super mario galaxy, resident evil, super smash brothers, etc, that can easily appeal to anyone over 7.. Anyone who grew up with Nintendo would probably agree. In my opinion Nintendo usually delivers the best gameplay out of all of the systems (for the games that are actually good), I grew up on the N64 which I'd say is the best console ever released

 

These arguments are too subjective due to the different capabilities and games of the consoles.

All in all, I would rate PS3 #1 Xbox 360 #2 and Wii #3, but that's my opinion and it shouldn't affect yours.

I think the XBox 360 is better, but that's probably because I have never tried a PS3.

 

I agree N64 is by far THE best console, next to the atari, which is only up there for pioneering video gaming

It's not cheaper. Overall, you are going to buy atleast 2 years of online membership for the Xbox360. You buy the Xbox360 for 200$. 2 years of online membership for about another 100$. ps3 = 300$. Xbox has more chances of getting Red Ring of Death. Ps3 has less chance of getting Yellow Light of Death.
Therefore, both systems cost the same but depends on how long you expect to play on it. Both systems are great. Forza Motorsports and Gran Turismo FTW.

Never had PS3 or xbox, was playing on both a bit, i could say PS3 looks better, in graphics, and overall, but in my country xbox is way cheaper than PS3, so if I need to choose, i would pick xbox to save some cash.

 

Xbox 360 is better because:

1. Doesn't look a Cooking Grill
2. Cheaper
3. Better Online (Online Gaming, SKY, Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Marketplace)
4. Halo 3
5. MLG

 

PS3 doesn't have better graphics, in fact in some games the graphics are much worse.

 

Ps3 isn't serious gaming, the 360 is, the ps3 can't dominate sony is shit, they have troubles selling their tv's ps3's are like their only hope.

And to be honest, the ps3 isn't hardcore.

Ps3 isn't hardcore it's just for people who can't afford to spend money on live, which is reasonbly priced, and keeps servers updates and a great community running.

PS3, if all my friends had it, the only reason Xbox 360 is better is because more people own one.
