    Mafia Wars Property Buying Guide!

    I wrote this one day when I was bored, Any questions will be answered.

    -----How to find out which property is a better buy on Mafia Wars.-----

    ALL FIGURES USED IN THIS GUIDE ARE COMPLETELY MADE UP AND DO NOT ACTUALLY EXIST AS FAR AS I KNOW. THIS GUIDE WAS MADE TO HELP YOU FURTHER UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF BUYING PROPERTY ON MAFIAWARS AND TO HELP SHOW YOU WHICH IS BETTER TO PURCHASE.

    In this guide you will figure out how to properly use math to find out the better property.
    We will use 4 random properties as examples.
    We have property A, B, C, and D.
    Property A's value will be represented by X, Property B's value will be represented by Y, Property C's value will be represented by Z, and Property D's value will be represented by Q.
    The base land value is represented by W in all equations.
    The profit by having the Property made per hour roughly will be represented by N.
    R is the number used to determine if the property is a good buy or not.(It will be further explained on in the guide.)

    So
    Property A = X
    Property B = Y
    Property C = Z
    Property D = Q
    Baseland Value = W
    Profit = N

    Lets say X or Property A needs a base land that costs $10,000.00. X or Property A will cost $1,000,000.00 because the actual building does not come with the baseland. The profit per/hour from Property A is $4,000.00.
    We will substitute all numbers provided into the equation.
    Use the equation (X + W) / N = R
    (1,000,000 + 10,000) / 4,000 = R
    1,010,000 / 4000 = R
    R = 252.5
    Property A's "R" is equal to 252.5. Record this number in a text document for use in further instruction.

    After recording the data for Property A we will further find out the "R" of the other 3 properties.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Lets say Y or Property B needs a base land that costs $30,000.00. Y or Property B will cost $800,000.00 because the actual building does not come with the baseland. The profit per/hour from Property B is $8,000.00.
    We will substitute all numbers provided into the equation.
    Use the equation (Y + W) / N = R
    (800,000 + 30,000) / 8,000 = R
    830,000 / 8,000 = R
    R = 103.75
    Property B's "R" is equal to 103.75. Record this number in a text document for use in further instruction.

    After recording the data for Property B we will further find out the "R" of the other 2 properties.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Lets say Z or Property C needs a base land that costs $2,000.00. Z or Property C will cost $10,000,000.00 because the actual building does not come with the baseland. The profit per/hour from Property C is $2,000.00.
    We will substitute all numbers provided into the equation.
    Use the equation (Z + W) / N = R
    (10,000,000 + 2,000) / 2,000 = R
    10,002,000 / 2,000 = R
    R = 5,001
    Property C's "R" is equal to 5,001. Record this number in a text document for use in further instruction.

    After recording the data for Property C we will further find out the "R" of the other 1 properties.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Lets say Q or Property D needs a base land that costs $100,000.00. Q or Property D will cost $2,000,000.00 because the actual building does not come with the baseland. The profit per/hour from Property D is $20,000.00.
    We will substitute all numbers provided into the equation.
    Use the equation (Q + W) / N = R
    (2,000,000 + 100,000) / 20,000 = R
    2,100,000 / 20,000 = R
    R = 105
    Property D's "R" is equal to 105. Record this number in a text document for use in further instruction.

    After recording the data for Property D we will further find out the "R" of the other 0 properties. Now once you have all data recorded you will look at all of the Properties "R"s and examine them further.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    After you have completed all of the steps to examining the properties you will take all of the values of "R" for the properties and examine them.
    Property A's R = 252.5

    Property B's R = 103.75

    Property C's R = 5,001

    Property D's R = 105

    After looking at all of the numbers you can tell there is much difference between the values of the numbers.
    You are going to want to buy the property with the lowest "R" after using the equation to solve for the lowest "R".
    In this case Property B will be a better buy.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    As all of you know after buying a property the value for the property increases for the property you just purchased.
    Lets say after buying Property B because the "R" value was the lowest before the value of the Property increases to $1,200,000.00 from its original $800,000.00.
    This will change the value of the "R" and you will have to solve for the "R" of Property B once again to compare it to the other values of "R" for the other properties.

    Lets say Y or Property B needs a base land that costs $30,000.00. Y or Property B will cost $1,200,000.00 because the actual building does not come with the baseland. The profit per/hour from Property B is $8,000.00.
    We will substitute all numbers provided into the equation.
    Use the equation (Y + W) / N = R
    (1,200,000 + 30,000) / 8,000 = R
    1,230,000 / 8,000 = R
    R = 153.75
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Now since the value of "R" for B has increased that doesn't mean it is still not the best one to purchase or the worst one to purchase. To figure out which is which you will have to examine it with the value of the "R" for the other properties.
    Property A's R = 252.5

    Property B's R = 153.75

    Property C's R = 5,001

    Property D's R = 105

    Now after examining the numbers you find that the "R" of Property B is now higher than the "R" of Property D which makes D a better value.
    To further examine the properties just repeat the steps for whatever property it is necessary to repeat on.
