Suggestion regarding Official Middlemen

I think each and every Official Middlemen who does not log in for 2 weeks, should lose his rank, until next login, where he could request it back and retain it.

Why would this be good?
An official middleman who isn't active or is away for more then 2 weeks should not hold the rank; this would most likely just open more opportunities for scammers and imposters. Take someone is looking for that MM, posts on his thread, and an imposter adds, that's all that can happen basicly, if the Middleman is away for a longer term of time.

What are the negatives in this?
It takes more hassle for the admins to de-OMM someone and re-OMM someone.

I think this could be reasonably considered.

no becuse you just check the emails against each other and you will see if there a imposter or no so no support.

 

That is no reasoning, someone inactive has no need to be an official middleman, until he becomes active again.
EDIT: don't only think about yourself, also consider this with leechers and ofcourse newcomers.

We can't eliminate impostors. Removing the MM rank will not eliminate this problem.

 

Well, I understand that, but if the OMM is not active then there are only the imposters left and the scammers. I simply think it's safer and also somehow easier to simply de-rank someone who is inactive. Take vietballer (not sure if he's been de-OMM'd, but he hasn't been active for months now. it's pointless having him as an official mm.

 

Personally, not to sound mean or anything but this is just a stupid idea. It does not help against scams in anyway. Leechers and newer members should read the MM thread and see that it says "ALWAYS ASK FOR A PM" if they do get scammed by an imposter then its their lose. It really doesn't help in anyway. I understand what you mean but it still doesn't help. No support

 

I don't quite understand how this would solve anything.
-Impersonators would not be taken away in any sense.
-We lose an OMM who could be good but has other issues to attend to.

Why is this necessary?
