[Help] What Are Your Suggestions to Not Get Banned For RWT

Hi all,

I wanted to compile a list of all the top suggestions to not get banned
If theres already some thread like this please link me it

Some of the obvious ones i've heard:

• High Level Accounts (total level, cb lvl)
• Smaller trades
• Don't use common spots like lumbridge
• Buy members

I've heard some other ones like, don't make trades with other lvl 3s? Does this really effect it? Or does the individuals cb lvl matter more

And do bigger trade effect it more or more frequency? Anyone have experience in this?

Another obvious one -
You've probably come across people adding junk to the trade
I'm not sure if this affects anything but its been very common for awhile now

 

This, but valuable junk. I put tons of runes and sometimes throw in a bond depending on the value of the trade.

 

To be safe, put the cash / tokens you’ve bought into expensive items. I got a ban for RWT and jag said the gold will be removed, however I spent all gold on expensive items and when I was unbanned all items were untouched.

 

use items instead of gp. die in pvp/wildy (fake a risk fight).

I would say rwt less - One trade is less risk then multiple small trades. Just do one whale purchase/or sale without middleman and trade with a low volume trader to avoid chainbans.

Got a RWT minor ban after buying gp yesterday but luckily transferred it off and that account is untouched. Curious as to what happens to my bank after 3 days as I have been frequently buying since coming back to the game.

Never had issues in all my years buying & selling years ago so wondering whats changed and better tips too.

I believe this is a big one that isn't often recommended. People share gear all the time, but rarely do people share "gp." It makes logical sense that accepting items would be less suspect.

 

The problem I have is most places i've found sell items at significantly inflated values; Player Auctions being one of them.

 

No, no. Don’t buy items, in that sense. You still want to buy “GP,” but just ask the seller to trade you items instead of cash when you go to meet him. I’ve done it many times. Most small sellers are more than happy to oblige.

Find a small GP seller -> meet them at GE to buy the GP -> ask them to buy a few items with the GP -> trade for the items.

Have you done that personally? It's been a few years and i've been thinking about getting back into things, but with how consistently hard they're coming down on people for RWT'ing now i'm a little hesitant. If trading items seems to be the successful method i'd definitely rather do that.

 

Yeah, I have. A certain level of risk will always be present, but as long as you’re smart about it, the risk is low.

 

What are the ways to go about buying gold in a smart way?

 

There's only so much you can do, and there will always be a risk to buying.

- Don't buy from a large-scale gold seller. Almost all of them are flagged and can easily lead to you getting a ban.
- Buy from a smaller gold shop. Ensure they're trustworthy, but I like to find guys who are selling gold sort of as a "one-off" or don't sell frequently.
- Ensure they aren't selling from a level 3. I like to buy from sellers who trade on a level 100+ account.
- Don't trade in edgeville.
- Let's say you're buying 250M. Ask the seller if he will buy a bandos set, pegs, a few tortures, etc. so that he trades you items instead of cash.
- Do not buy from your main, and slowly move the GP from your side account to your main.

 

What is your opinion on buying a large amount on an alt account and transferring It to my main in items? Also do you have a reputable seller that you recommend?
