I for one, support it. It is about time that someone has stepped up to enforce immigration policy in our country. It has gotten completely out of hand. It blows my mind that its such an argument in our country, look, your either here legally (congrats, enjoy american life), or you decided to skip the legality, and come here illegally. Coming here illegally breaks a law, and I believe you should be extradited immediately. Its as simple as that.

I don't know the exact law but i think that Arizona has a right to extradite illegal imigrants if it sees fit.

It opens up law enforcement to racially profile people, I guess they feel they are choosing the lesser evil, but I feel you should come up with a solid plan rather then releasing a half-ass plan

Basically, it's tantamount to national socialism.

"All dogs must wear tags" now applies to mexicans too!

They're being sued for a reason.

It's not like they are picking random mexicans off the street and saying "hey let me see your immigration papers"

I'm going to agree with you, ImPrettyCool. It's about time someone did something to stop illegal immigration. I fully support this.

As long as they don't racial profile, it's fine I guess. But we all know how pigs are.

Pigs=Racist cops. I didn't mean ALL cops. But pigs will be pigs, Real cops that actually do their job and are actually nice people and not pigs=Cops.
Oh, and pigs come in all shapes and sizes, and races. Pigs don't have to be white to be racist.

I don't believe that that is anything in the constitution about immigration laws. Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't studied the document in over a year.

If there isn't, the power should be grated to the state due to the 10th amendment. The state can do what it wants. National gov has too much power.

Aren't they suing them on the grounds it is un-constitutional anyway? I don't think they'd make that big of a mistake. It's the same here in Australia, pretty much every major thing the state does is either challenged by fedgov or another state.

I haven't followed it. I don't understand our government. They don't want illegals in the country (Spend Billions on putting fences up), yet they sue a state trying to enforce what the national government want???

    I don't understand

    I think it's stupid.
Why would I need to carry my citizenship just because of my skin color?

    Stupid tbh.

I live in Canada, so this doesn't affect me in anyway, however I support it. I doubt the majority of police officers will abuse it, plus in my opinion, anything which decreases crime\illegal immigration should be implemented, even if it pisses some people off.

Haha we're a fucked up little state according to the rest of America. If you read the bill, which is only 12 pages long compared to the 1000+ page health care bill which Obama passed, the bill is pretty harmless despite what critics say. It simply gives local police the same jurisdiction as border patrol. Meaning!, they can detain illegals and deport them their selves as apposed to calling border patrol to clean up the mess. Saves time and tax payer money. Mexican's get really racial whenever something is borderline like this, I hate that shit. Take the time to sit down and read the bill before you send death threats to our governor.
