What is your most fond memory of the 'old' Rs2?

Old pking of course. Edge pking with my nearly maxed rune pure was just amazing. Luring was fun too .. especially skull tricking green dragon botters was a great source of money and was fun too. My mate was teleblocker and I used barrage with whip and dds. People also showed some respect days and I miss that too.. it was 2005-2006 or so. People actually said something like ''Goodfight'' like 99% of time instead of the ''FUCKING NERD SAFER I KILL YA IRL!!!!!!'' that people say now..

Lol what can I say? Pking, merching, scamming, almost shitting myself when I got my first 10k, phats were 1M, santas were 300k, making new low level pures every few days, etc. The biggest thing I miss was the way the music sounded back in the day. I can't describe it, but there was something about it that made me want to play everyday; that and the old theme music was enough to get me addicted.

 

my favorite was talking people to the giant mole and then ask for candle back and then they die and u pick up there stuff. real easy money haha

Me and my friend would make new accounts and they'd be really low level mages so we could both attack someone and they'd almost always die in 1 hit .

I miss drop trading too. I mean, it's my money I earned myself, I don't see why I can't give it to my other accounts.

All these memories are making me hate RS now, runescape used to be a game with freedom and realism to it, whatever you had meant something because you knew you were free to do with it as you will, you knew people wanted it and it was so much fun to watch people try and lure your phat or beg you for it, it felt good to be wearing something that you knew everybody would try to get off you and it used to be big to see somebody wearing a rare because you knew it could possibly be yours soon. Back in the old RS logging in to lumby with a phat felt awesome and a fun way to pass time, you were treated like the king of runescape, these days nobody cares and alot of noobs don't know the value of the partyhat, just the other day a noob in Addy (G) was calling me a noob because I was level 126 (non members) and had nothing on but a shit blue hat.. little did this noob know that this hat is worth 1000x more than anything he had on.

Runescape isn't what it used to be, it seems like a whole different game, it is more like a single player game now, if you replaced every player with an NPC you would hardly notice the difference, most of the player interaction is gone, except for a few noobs still trying to get a girlfriend in lumby... R.I.P Runescape.
