Treasure Trails

What do you think the new "elite treasure trails" items and content will be? I wonder if they're just changing the loot rate on the existing treasure trails

Few items have already been announced including 3rd age prayer gear, Dragon masks, and Animal staves.

I find it hard to believe that a unique trail item awaits every clue scroll embarked upon. Won't these items get over-inflated? Perhaps they are untradeable? Who knows. Im excited nonetheless.

 

'awaits' doesn't mean a 100% guarantee

 

Uhhh... i don't think anyone in this community, let alone the entire world ever suggested that the word 'awaits' means a 100% guarantee- so i have absolutely no idea what you are getting at. Are you really taking a completely random word out of my sentence out of context so you can get your post count up? I don't see any substance in your post whatsoever.

Im fairly certain that ALWAYS, and EVERY suggests that there is a good chance you'll receive a UNIQUE item... i even bolded the words for you so you'd understand a bit easier- you're welcome.

 

im excited too. the current trail awards are kinda getting boring. it will be nice to see a new item every once in awhile in my opinion

I heard something about an ELITE clue scroll only bosses will drop, maybe only the elite scrolls have a 100% chance for a good TT item.

 

This would make more sense. Can't imagine what the best attainable item will be for an ELITE clue scroll- 3rd age is already so valuable for a level 3 scroll.

 

Good point, I'd imagine elite clues would only be dropped by bosses, too. Or maybe when you reach a certain kill count..

 

What I'm not looking forward to is when the update comes out EVERY normal treasure trail you do you will always get a reward that normally you would have to pray for such as wizzy (g). Be prepared for people panicking and crashing items.

 

My guess is that the economy is going to ruined even further and if "you’ll always get a unique, trail-specific reward every time you open the reward casket at the end" might mean that the items won't even be tradeable. But that's just my thought.

 

I was planning on saving the level 3 clue scroll in my bank for when the new TT items are released- but after reading the speculation in this thread im almost considering doing it now and selling whatever item i get (if i get one) before it crashes because yes- i agree.. out come the old in come the new.

You do know the ENGLISH language can be interpreted in many ways. Thus, "AWAITS" you previous sentence does not state there is a 100% drop rate for an unique item. Instead of trying to sound intelligent, regurgitate information more clearly.

 

Forgive me- was it wrong that i presumed you actually read the original post before responding? Usually, when interacting on the forums- people tend to read the thread topic before stating their opinion on the matter, but i guess thats not always the case. Its easy to cover up stupidity with ignorance, and its easy to scapegoat ignorance for carelessness.

I honestly have no idea where you are going with this. I used the word 'awaits' - that is true.. and it was used CORRECTLY in response to a jagex update. You're argument is very, very dire- almost embarrassing to read to tell you the truth. Stop while you are ahead, this is non-sense. You misread, or rather didn't read at all, get over it and get back on topic.

 

I hope you realized you just 100% proved you didn't read the first post, at all. Everything criterion posted was in the OP, which you obviously disregarded.

On topic:
I'm sure Jagex isn't stupid enough to increase the odds of getting what is now considered "rare" from a treasure trail so that we'll be getting them practically every other clue. I'm sure most of the new items will be small value items. I highly doubt Jagex would deliberately crash the entire TT market.

 

Hell yea, the old treasure trails was fail.. You spent like 100k on it and this is the reward: Rune axe and 12 purple sweets..

 

when did this happen?!?!? holy awsomeness im syked!!!

 

yeah i'd save my cluescrolls if I was a member till the day the new rewards come out. They're probably going to have a very high street price.

 

Anyone have an eta on this?
