quite odd that you make a specific sticky that says not to dispute individual infractions in the Dispute A Ban forum, but you entertain those threads . In my opinion, they should receive another infraction for ignoring stickies.

If you let that one guy go, you'll have problems in the future when you infract another guy for ignoring the sticky. He can just point at the other fellow and say "You didn't infract him. Why did you infract me?".

If you don't do either, your sticky is pointless and shows that you're just not good at upholding the rules you yourself write

I seem to be the only one that just informs people that they can't dispute infractions anymore. I close them, archive them and move on to real disputes.

 

I have to agree with Necro once one person made a thread in the feedback thread 3-4 of them popped up.

People usually get a warning for ignoring the stickies before receiving an infraction. Let's say that if someone posts two infraction disputes (after being warned once they will receive an infraction.

If someone has a problem with an infraction, because it may have improperly been given, it would be best to PM the Staff Member who gave you the infraction. Even though they are not disputable any longer or at this present time, a Staff Member may review the infraction.

Should people be infracted for making a dispute for one?
No. This new system of infractions has just been set. Infracting every person who makes a thread would furthermore make this site too strict. Also, you could see it as a double whammy as well. Someone gets infracted for spamming and then for making a dispute for said infraction? That would be unfair... in my opinion.

 

Yeah it would be unfair. I think the dispute an infraction forum should be brought back. I mean, we all make mistakes right?

I made this thread because it's in the rules. However unfair it might be, it's still a rule. Rules must be followed.
