Is there a way you can get abs by just doing situps? I just want a tupac or fourpac. How many should I do each day? Im 5"8 and 56KG

You need to run. Situps won't make your abs show. You probably have abs under a layer of fat. Run alot to get rid of your body fat and your abs will show. Of course situps will help defining your abs if your not very obese.

Situps is useless unless you just want to tone your abominal muscles. lift heavy, eat clean and don't go all out cardio unless you want to be a stick.

Diet is a essential for good abs. Without a good diet you can do all the situps you want, you'll never see them.

    Check your body fat%

Skinny or not, if your bodyfat% is higher than around 7, those abs aren't showing.

As Tombstone is saying, you need to actually add weight to your ab exercises. Your already at an advantage if you say your skinny, meaning you won't really have to do much cardio to burn off the layers of fat. Do exercises like hanging leg raises. Don't just do 100 situps and think your going to get abs. You need to add weight. Look up ab exercises and determine what you want to do. If you work hard, your going to get abs.

To clarify, running on a treadmill doesn't actually give you abs, it just burns off the layers of fat in front of your already possibly not discovered abs.

To be honest, i have had abs since about grade 5.
I am just like that i guess
I dont do alot of excercise, and i eat ALOT...
but sometimes i go out with mates and do backflips.
Although in australia, when the holidays come on, i do tend to put on a little fat around the stomach, but it usually burns off when school starts.

will confirm on webcam to anyone.

    tl;dr. l2backflip

With a bodyfat monitor. You could either buy one or go to a local gym and ask if you can use theirs. It's good to have if you want to pursue working out.

Edit: Running won't build abs, it will just get rid of your excess fat allowing your abs to show.

If you go all out on cardio your are just going to get sick of it and stop. Maybe make a scheduled plan for the week, eat right and stay fit; Just an idea? Get a friend to help you. It's alot easier with a friend.

7% is actually lower than the generally accepted BF% for abs and is usually only a temporary cutweight . Around 12% is usually when you start seeing abs, obviously differing a little for everybody. If you look at the surveys conducted by sites like bodybuilding.com 10% is considered a really good bf% for the ripped look.

A proper low carb diet, with extensive exercise will work. Constant situps, and ab machines won't bring your abs out. Your abs are there, just under your BF. Now Machines, and crunches can make your abs more defined, and look better. Low bf% should be enough to see results (I'm around 10%, and have a clean 6 pack.) If not, go on a low carb diet, and do some ab exercises, perferably on a swiss ball/machine, to help define the muscle group.

Sidestory: This guy I used to work out with who did core work extensively with me had a belly but had visible abs aswell. It was pretty weird looking. You could see his abs in his pot belly, and fairly well defined.

You just want a two pack or a four pack? Thats easy then. You don't have to do any cardio for a two pack if you are already skinny, since there is less body fat in the two pack area.

I have a two pack, i can feel a four pack, i too am skinny, but i have to do cardio to lower my bodyfat to get the four pack to start showing. I am working on getting a six pack.

But just simply a two pack is easy, i did weighted crunches. When i first started, i was doing a 15kg weighted crunch. Now i do a 60kg weighted crunch. My two pack is rock hard and fairly noticeable just from doing crunches. But to get a 6 pack, thats a completely different story, the first two abs are easy, the remaining four are really hard work.

I got a 6/8 pac I'm getting the doubles coming through but cause I'm leen they don't show unless I tense.

There allot of exercises you can do my advice first of all is get yourself a pull up bar. And get yourself a routine also include some heavy lifting as you don't wan't your arms to go out of proportion.

Lifting does not give you abbs, i got my 6pack doing normal 200 crunches a dat in my room for about 3 months. A way better excersise is 6 60 90 look it up.

That's untrue. Deadlifts definitely involve your abs, although in a minor way. Doing 200 crunches a day will only define your abs (your probably skinny.) If you want your abs to stick out and look more muscular you need to add a bit of weight to your ab exercises. Grab a plate and do your crunches with it at the least. Ankle weights while doing hanging raises, etc.
